“Fantastic deals at this location. A bluetooth speaker for only $5. Unbelievable!!! And it works on my android phone, computer and tablet. It includes a charging cable - USB A to USB C. It also solved a big problem. My android smart phone speaker just doesn't have the output decibels and power any more. This speaker belts out the sound loud and crisp. And the staff are courteous, friendly and helpful. I would shop here again for the many bargains.”

“The store is usually very clean and well organized. It’s also quite accessible—I’ve never had any issues bringing in my service dog. The staff are friendly and helpful. I didn’t catch her name, but we bonded over how much we both love Halloween. She had short-ish brown hair and brown eyes, and she noticed I was struggling with my bags and kindly helped me carry them to my car. It was incredibly sweet, and I really appreciate seeing staff go above and beyond like that. ?? I’m giving 4 stars only because the music is extremely loud in the store—it sometimes feels a bit like a Christmas nightclub! ?”

“The store is good, definitely the cheapest option in this modern era of insane inflation. The staff is nice overall (The Manager does not seem very pleasant, but never had to interact with him) , and the aisles are super wide and comfortable to browser in comparison to their Waterloo counterpart. That being said some of the customers are just absolutely mental. I have come to store around 8 PM multiple times, and each time there is a customer having a mental health crisis, screaming at the cashier or manager over a few dollars. I don't know how the staff deals with that nonsense. Be warned there a few individuals who have poor hygiene sometimes in the store, and other times sleeping outside the store. This is not really something that can be fixed unfortunately, given where the store is located. People have to buy essential items and sadly this is probably the only affordable place in downtown Kitchener.”

“To the employee who spoke up and whom informed the customer about leaving her dog in a hot car to go shopping, THANK YOU!! More people need to speak up about this. To the customer Grazyna M. , leave your dog at home!! I have a dog with anxiety as well and I dont take her shopping with me or leave her in a hot car. Leaving a dog in a hot car IS AGAINST THE LAW!! You're lucky the police and the humane society were not called, cause you would have been charged with endangering the wellbeing of an animal. As for the store and their employees, they are doing a fantastic job and have great customer service!!”

“When I found Dollarama, I realized it is exactly the store I was looking for. I have to say the quality of most items from Dollarama is really good at it's price point. It has all household items at an extremely affordable price (CAD $1-5) range. The quality is really good with that price range as well. Best place to shop for organization / storage items, craft items, garden decor, stationary / office supplies and some kitchen items too. They have great Halloween and Christmas decorations too. I definitely have a weekly shopping there.”
