About First Mennonite Church
First Mennonite Church is a welcoming place where visitors can enjoy a warm embrace of God. The church is known for its insightful pastor, who has a kind and understanding demeanor. The congregation is socially active and friendly, creating a comfortable environment for all. People have attended for various reasons, including AA meetings, and feel inspired by the community and spiritual atmosphere. The church has interesting historical connections, such as its links to the Ethiopian Meserete Kirstos Church, which was established in the 1960s and is linked to the Mennonite community. Overall, it is a great place to worship and be part of a caring community.

Great place to be welcomed. Pastor Rene is insightful and has a Mr Rogers vibes. A kind, understanding, intelligence on all forms and levels and socially active congregation. Come for a service and feel the warm embrace of God. From a Gen Xer !!
