Prices have jumped since new owners took over. Previous owner knew everyone and going in the morning was a meet and chat with neighbors. New people are there only for your transaction. The parking lot is now littered with garbage. Previous owner never let this happen. I now go elsewhere

The store has inconsistent hours, very low volume of stock, the neighbour hood could really use a good variety store I think a lot of neighbours were excited when Taj mart opened but soon realized the store owners are not taking the business seriously and open and close whenever they want really dissapointing

This store's practices are disappointing, and I wouldn't advise visiting. There seems to be a lack of transparency regarding pricing, as the actual cost is often only revealed at checkout. Additionally, there have been instances where items are not scanned properly. It's important to be vigilant and cautious when shopping here.

Have been shopping at this store since I was 4. The prices are too high. And dont agree with the change and feel uncomfortable when I shop there. I miss the old owners they always cared about our community and wonderful to my children

I was sad when the old owners sold this they were part of a community and felt like family. I did meet Jay the new owner and I had high hopes he was very nice and helpful.i just wish he stayed to run the store. It seems they are consistently out of the smokes I want and other staples in a corner store like coke . I think they are overpriced and things are not priced so you don't know till you are at the counter. I was going to buy some sliced cheese $7.. told cashier I didn't want it at that price he kept saying but I scanned it already I had to say several times I don't want it. It seemed like it was a hassle to redo purchas.even the customer behind me told him to redo bill. I have decided to take my business elsewhere. I have noticed more poor rating since new ownership

EVERYONE MUST BEWARE OF NEW OWNERSHIP.I have went to this corner store for about 15 years. Well before young bought it.While young was the owner I moved out of the area for a couple years and still made a point to stop into his store when I could!Was upset to hear when young sold.It has been a few months now and I have been in there 4 times. I refuse to go back into that store. They HAVE or HAVE TRIED to Rip me Off every single time.They are scam artists and everyone must beware of this. pay attention closely and ask for receipts!!!

Staff were super helpful and checked for restock for some items running low. Place looked like it was getting a major uplift with the construction. Super convenient for a quick pit stop on our drive.

As a long-term customer of the Hoffman mini mart I was worried that the quality of service as well as the quality of products offered would be negatively be affected due to change of ownership . Unfortunately I was right. The prices of products depends on which person is working. Always ask for a receipt as it tends to be padded with extra charges, for example $0.25 for a plastic bag, while you weren't given one, or charging you for a bag of ice as opposed to a typical plastic bag a difference of $3.00. Depending on who is working food prices vary. I was told the items "can't be scanned because they aren't in the system" meanwhile they scanned the day before with no issues, AND FOR $0.75 cheaper the day and the day after. This, unfortunately has made myself, and many of my neighbours who have always supported Hoffman Mini Mart, sooner shop at Zehr's knowing we are going to pay way more but AT LEAST THEY ARE CONSISTENTLY OVERPRICED.Also do NOT cash your winning tickets there as they don't honor them. My roomate went up to cash in her tickets and buy items. The cashier took the tickets but charged her full price for all her purchases. She came back and the worker, an old bald headed man, said ooops I forgot. It was only $6 but how many people have they done that too who haven't noticed? How much free money have they stolen that way? Not to mention another neighbour who went up for 2 quick picks no encore, yet they put it through with encore and expected him to walk back home and grab more money!!!! What a disappointment for myself, and the neighbours as we are a firm believers in supporting local businesses.......JUST NOT THIS ONE!!!! Ironically this convenience store isn't so convenient! Sorry Jay you ROCK but your employees suck!!I am sure you have noticed your customer base shrinking as it is hard enough to get by in today' wallet draining world without your store being a part of the chaos, especially in our own backyard!!!

The owner of the shop is so patient and kind while his son loses it sometimes when my wife messes with payment methods. However, it is a good mini shopping hub.
