“We visited the store just to see what they had, as we were looking for various new pieces of furniture. We met and dealt with Patrice. He helped us see and understand the unique qualities and the value of the furniture we had an interest in. He answered all our questions and provided all the requested information. He returned all emails we sent with questions, promptly. We returned within a couple of weeks and did purchase what we think are unique and stunning pieces that we believe will be great additions to our home for years to come. We know they are there to sell items but we did not feel any pressure from them at all. In fact, the whole process was made very comfortable by Patrice and the product we purchased, really sold themselves. They do offer very fine furniture and it may not be for everyone, but I would encourage anyone who is in the market for something unique and of high quality to visit their shop. After being there twice, their product makes many other store's product look and feel inferior. We will definitely return when we are again in the market for something.”

“**UPDATE** They were able to refund my purchase for me. I've opted to keep my membership and keep dealing with them. I'll just be more careful with what makes it into my bag from now on!An hour out of my way, nearly $130 later... Only to get home and find out they didn't ring through or include the pattern and it was sitting at the register the whole time. I called, told them I'd been in earlier, and the lady I spoke to immediately knew who I was, what I was looking for, and told me they had it at the register. No one bothered to contact me that I'd left it. No one came out after me -- we sat for a while outside. Now the $80 in fabric and notions is absolutely useless.”

“We had an excellent experience with Area Rug Shop in Waterloo. They had a huge selection of rugs in the store which was a bit intimidating. The staff were very helpful and patient as they helped guide us to what we wanted. We bought one rug as is and another to be custom sized. Several days before the customer rug was estimated to be ready, we received a call from the manager apologizing because a machine they use for custom rugs had broken down and our rug might be late. I was so impressed they called ahead of time to let us know. Most places would have waited for me to call after I didn't receive my product on time. In the end, they still managed to deliver our custom rug on time. Very impressed with the staff, service and product (we love the rugs!).”
