Do not recommend this dealership stay away brought my truck in for a noise under acceleration. And after a week of it being there I was told there has been a problem. Another week later I get told that the tech was essentially doing break-stands trying to recreate the noise and blew the transmission and has since been let go. I told them I needed a truck to get to work as I’m a contractor and was advised to get a rental and they would cover it. Every week I called asking if it’s ready only to be told they’re really busy and haven’t got to it yet. 4 weeks later they finally said it was ready . Please send the rental invoice to be paid. I thought Okay no problem how ever the original noise had not been fixed and now I have a $1980 rental on my card. After this debacle I found some reviews of a good shop in Cambridge who diagnosed the noise in 15 min due to an exhaust leak. As of now It’s been almost 6 months and have over 3000 on my card with interest and will probably have to take this to court

Kitchener Ford worked hard to problem solve and fix a transmission problem in my F150. They were committed to keep working on the issue and provided our rental vehicle when they had the vehicle longer than expected. Very impressed with the service at Kitchener Ford.

SECOND UPDATE: I’ve been pushed to the side. Once the deal was done and the vehicle was purchased I am no longer a valued or heard customer. Nobody will contact me back regarding the manufacturer defects I’m experiencing with my vehicle. It’s disappointing to know I purchased a brand new vehicle and cannot fully enjoy the features Ford company claims it is equipped with. I have given up, after MORE THAN 2 YEARS of expressing these concerns to every Ford dealer I’ve been to for maintenance. It is not only inconvenient but also a safety concern that I am experiencing on a daily with this Bronco Sport. My friends, family, and myself have all agreed to never spend money at Ford. I have shared my story with many guests and customers I interact with and I have learned that Ford actually has a large reputation for its company wide avoidance in these situations. I am now looking into purchasing a truck and will be sure to go with Dodge as I have learned from my own mistake.
Update: I spoke with this Andrew guy that replied below. After a long conversation of repeating my concerns, he’s finally going to check into the safety concern with my windows (which may i say, are still not working properly 95% of the time). Anyway, he said he would contact me back on Monday… Two monday’s have gone by so I’m just wondering which Monday he meant. Fyi the carplay feature barely works, it won’t recognize when there is a device connected. I actually tried connecting different phones but now the carplay icon is actually non existent on the home dashboard. The electronic components often cut out and show a black screen or just stop working completely. It was a big mistake buying a Ford vehicle, and the general jokes or memes taunting Ford… well, I should have taken them more seriously.
Original post: My experience with Ford was great during the initial shopping point. The sales team is amazing so the 1 star is not for them. The reason for 1 star is for the quality, integrity and overall customer satisfaction that Ford lacks to provide. I bought the 2022 Bronco Sport last year. I was actually lied to by the financial advisor, Moe. He gave me extremely wrong information regarding what the extra purchased warranties would cover, and failed to properly explain the details surrounding the monetary obligations.
Otherwise, I’ve come to realize that the vehicle is built very cheap; there has been electrical/technology issues with the system, faulty power window controls (which prevent me from rolling my windows up - DANGEROUS) and I have to mention a windshield that is no stronger than plexiglass. When informing Ford dealers of my problems with the electronic system and window failures, I’ve heard nothing but excuses and finally blatant “sorry, there’s nothing we can do about that”.
It’s actually very interesting that Ford can put out a product with manufacturer problems but won’t take the responsibility to fix it.
Anyways, I would highly recommend shopping elsewhere if you don’t want to run into stress as a vehicle owner! Cheers
