“Always loved TOK but what truly stood out to me was their sensitivity to having everything wheelchair accessible. I broke my foot and ankle in December, which required surgery, and could only get around in a wheelchair in the public (being non weight bearing). I was hesitant going In with a wheelchair but it was easy peasy... even around the glass China! It made my shopping experience so enjoyable and stress free. Thank you for being so inclusive. Amazing job, MCC!”

“Such a cute hidden gem of a store. I go here every time I go to the farmers market. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Lots of items to choose from. Prices are very fair. Proceeds go back into helping the community. I always end leaving with something.”

“This Talize thrift store is a thrifters paradise. It is a place you could spend a good amount of time treasure hunting.
A few positive facilities are the Change rooms with an attendant posted there most of the time. There is a clean customer bathroom. There is a full service cashier at The checkouts which is a refreshing reprieve from the self-checkouts I have experienced at other thrift stores.
The merchandise is generally priced correctly. There are a few exceptions of the item’s priced high because they have a brand names on them even when they appear to be terrible knock offs. I advise everyone to be educated in spotting the fakes so you don’t pay a premium price for an imitation.
There is a 30% discount for seniors aged 55+ every Tuesday and 10% off every other day.
Anyone who donates used items receives an incentive of a $5 coupon and some have a stipulation of needing the purchase to be $25 in order to redeem. This is the reason I prefer to donate to value village because there coupon tends to same me more money.
A very negative practice I have noticed is when stickers are placed directly on the stuffies fur. This sometimes damages them when the sticker is removed. Please Stop This! I am an avid stuffy collector and need them to be in mint condition.”

“I have been a frequent shopper at this Goodwill for eight years, most of my books and clothes come from here. Friendly, lovely staff and great inexpensive items.”

“This Value Village is at Ottawa St N/ Weber St E and shares the plaza with Dairy Queen, Tim Hortins e.c.t
I find the store to be large with a lot of selection.
The employees are friendly, the Security guard is courteous and opened the doors for me as I was leaving.
The showcase often has interesting items in it. There was a person behind the desk ready to show the customer items.
Some things are priced high but this is common now at most thrift stores these days.
I find most things are priced pretty reasonably.
Unfortunately there are no Change rooms here anymore so you must keep your receipts and try on things at home.
There are self checkouts with an attendant. The attendant is helpful. Sometimes if there are a lot of customers in line they may open up a regular checkout with a cashier that gives full service.”

“This Value Village location always has a great selection. What I like best, though, is their drive thru donation system! The staff are friendly and helpful, and the store is clean and well maintained.”
