The Urban Barn at the Boardwalk is one of my favorite locations to visit. It is impeccably styled and I always have a positive experience with Emily. We just finished a design consultation where she gave me ideas on how to liven up a hallway using art/decor found in the store. Would highly recommend this service!

I went to the urban Barn in Waterloo 2 days apart and I was treated very well.On the 21st of July I bought a beautiful clock . And then on the 23rd of July I went back and got some other beautiful things for my house. I just want to say thank you to the two young ladies that helped me out. And for all the staff that work there they are very pleasant and helpful. I love shopping at Urban barns they have the most beautiful things.

Purchasing experience was very positive. 5 stars. for product, price and staff assistance, Now waiting for the product if delivered as promised in 5 weeks due to nature of the custom order I will be 5 stars across the board.

I wanted to send a huge shout out to Emily for giving me an excellent customer experience, and going out of her way to help me! There was an item that I really wanted but it was sold out both at the Kitchener location as well as other local locations, and was also unavailable online! That being said, Emily went out of her way and was able to reserve one for me at a further location that had it and made sure that I got it! She was very nice and friendly, and went above and beyond! I appreciate what you did for me Emily, thank you :)

I am very happy with the purchase of my print from Urban Barn. I always love going into their stores. They are so beautifully laid out and it gives me great decorating ideas. The staff is always so friendly and courteous. That also keeps me coming back. Thank you Urban Barn.

Went there looking for new furniture. Unfriendly help. No ? interaction from 3 sales staff. Walked out. I did see some great pieces. Considering ordering on line now.

I love shopping at the Urban Barn at the Boardwalk. Their selection of products is amazing, and I always find something unusual which I couldn’t find anywhere else.There is a good selection between modern, contemporary and traditional merchandise.

My husband and I bought a wall picture from the Boardwalk location on Saturday August 6, 2022, we were told it would arrive at the store for pickup the following Thursday August 11, 2022. We told the Salesperson we would like to be notified via email/text of the pickup confirmation since we would be driving 30 mins to your store. My husband received a text from Urban Barn on Tuesday saying the product was ready for pick up so we drove down today Saturday August 13, 2022 only to find out it did not arrive at the store. What a waste of our time, so now we have to wait for another week or two to hear from Urban Barn as to when we will be able to pick up this product. We had plans to make other purchases here but now having second thoughts.Not a very good experience!

Let me start of by saying that when we were in store the staff was amazing! They knew their product and all the staff was super friendly. So my wife and I ordered a bed, which we were told should be manufactured faster than the 8 weeks they state. So the 8 weeks were coming up and we called, being excited for our new bed and we were told 3 times by 3 separate employees that the bed was on time.The Bed should have arrived to the warehouse on the 30th and now we are still almost 2 weeks out with no explanation. We had to call the store, the trucking company and sit on hold with customer care for ever while they tried to locate the bed. a day later, they finally tell us that it's in transit and SHOULD be at the warehouse by next Friday, 2 full weeks late, with no reason why.Normally this wouldn't be an issue, but my god, the customer service after the sale is horrible. Everyone passes the buck and no one can just be honest about timelines. Be prepared to wait if you order anything custom. We were completely disappointed with this experience and went from loving Urban Barn to never wanting to shop there again!EDIT: So it's been a while since I last posted this and even though I was frustrated by the communication and delays I have to say the bed has been fantastic. It surpassed all our expectations and the install crew was great. I did appreciate the store getting back to me and will now change the rating, because I believe it had more to do with the manufacturing company then the store. I also know how frustrating it can be when you can't get answers from your suppliers and hate updating your customers with the same "i know nothing further" responses.

Used to come to this store all the time until I showed up today and the store does not allow anyone in without a mask even if you claim medical exemption. They show support for other things on their window but will discriminate against someone that has a medical condition? Nope. Won’t support here ever again.
