Unfortunately, I can't give 5 starts! If you would have asked me a year ago I totally would have given 5 star review. Every time I go in and ask for steaks or whatever from the butcher Chris, I get attitude and told there is some already put out. I always use to feel comfortable going in and asking for fresh cut steaks, but for the past year Chris seems to have let his attitude get in the way. I can go to Barriefield in Kingston, but always chose to drive out to Lansdowne and support this small local store, as they always were so friendly and helpful and their prices were extremely fair. Unfortunately when im paying 160.00 for 5 filets and get treated with total disrespect, and get attitude, it is not worth my time.
It's really unfortunate, as the friendliness and helpfulness is what always had me coming back and telling people about Lansdowne Freshmart. Now I would say its still a cute little store, just don't ask the butcher for any help because you will be greeted with attitude and disrespectful looks. Keep clear from him, and you will be happy you stopped in!

Love this quaint store, good selection of grocery items. The butchers are fabulous, the meat is fantastic here. They often go out of their way to accommodate my parents request and cut the meats to their preference for bbq, etc. Amazing customer experience

Clean. Friendly. Large selection for a small town. Deli counter and fresh foods are always good. Wish it was open a bit later, but totally understand the hours for being a small store.

Not a huge selection of the regular day to day items but wonderful items that aren't found everywhere like REAL clotted cream for example. I did, however, find it incredibly expensive so unless I'm looking for something unique I will continue with my regular grocer

Has all your food needs. Great place to by your meat needs in case the fishing isnt so good.
