“I arrived in Detroit at 4:00 to attend an event at 6:00. As I was getting ready to checkin in to our hotel I discovered that I had left my suit at home. I google searched for nearby men’s stores and found Hot Sams Detroit about thee blocks away. At 4:30 I walked into Hot Sams and was greeted by Terrence Beasley. I explained my predicament to Terence, who smiled and calmly said, “I got you.” Indeed he did. Over the next 30 minutes he fitted me with a great blazer, patterned dress shirt, coordinated tie and pocket square, slacks and socks. The pants required hemming, but fortunately they had a tailor onsite. They marked the pants and took them to be hemmed and pressed. They also pressed the shirt and the blazer for a fine look. By 5:15 I was out the door with the complete outfit. Back to my hotel for a quick change, and we made it to our event right at 6:00. A terrible day made great by Hot Sams Detroit, Terence Beasley, and the store’s tailors. I heartly recommend them.”

“I would like to thank Laz once again for providing me with yet another wonderful suit. The Suit Shop is a great store and provides a multitude of choices for every man’s needs. I can say that all I wear are shirts from this store. The fabric and cut are a very high quality at a very reasonable price. I always spend time with Laz to choose the fabric and the custom lining of my all my suits. Although it’s over a 2 hour drive for me to get to the store, Laz’s personality and the quality of his clothing keeps me going back. I won’t buy my clothing from anyone else other than Laz. “The prices are good and the service is excellent! This is the down to earth spot to get fur or leather without all of the pressure. This will be my go to spot. They also walk you to your vehicle so you don't have to worry.”

I am a transgender man and prom suit shopping had me very stressed out, but when I came here and they were told about my pronouns, they got them right and treated me like a man. “If your going to this location ask for Jenna to help you .She help me get the right fit and the right style for my brothers wedding ,Took time with me, had me try on different sizes and colors. Most importantly made sure I felt comfortable in what I was wearing, not just rushed out the door She even took the time to ask my wife what she was wearing. She wanted to make sure we would match and if you know me. I would of never know to do that .You def do not find people that care anymore but this sales women knew her stuff and was great at her job . What a pleasure to shop with her.”

“I've been shopping here since it was Roots 73. This location is super convenient compared to the mall and well worth the drive out of town. There is parking right by the door. The location is very large and not jam-packed. I always come in for a couple of specific things and manage to leave with a huge bag of stuff. They've always got a great selection and even a fully stocked clearance rack. It's not Roots 73 anymore but there are still more deals here than a typical location.”
