“I have known Ronny and Sam for well over 20 years, I've known them so long, I turned from a young woman into a old woman. Hands down, this is my favorite store in River Rouge or anywhere else on the face of the earth because of the character of these men and I consider them as friends. I knew them long before they ever got married and had children. They were the same then as they are now, nothing but hardworking, polite, kind and professional men. It is clear to see, their parents raised them with morals and integrity. Their family had to go through major struggles to get where they are today and leave family behind to rid themselves of the oppression. I thank God for men like Ronny and Sam and I appreciate what they went through and who they are. They have made this city a better place and I have nothing but major respect for them and pray always that God blesses and protects them and their entire family.”

“Excellent tacos in SW Detroit and an excellent price. I had a beef and spicy sausage taco and an al pastor tostada. The taco was $1.50 and tostada $2.50. Taco was served with a lime wedge and 2 house sauces, topped with cilantro and onions Also, chips and house made salsa were brought to our table. The salsa was a slightly thicker/saucy consistency, on the spicy side, visible cilantro and onions, not like a pico just a nice, flavorful salsa. As for the house taco sauces i preferred the green which was a nice balance of creamy goodness and heat, and had a jalepeno flavor to it. the red sauce was spicy and more acidic, also good. The taco (campechano) had a nice spicy flavor and the al pastor was solid - hard to tell what/if fruit was used in the marinade. Service was friendly and the place was clean. If you are looking for fantastic tacos this is the place. The bonus is a great price. The place seats about 16 and is in the back of a small market - they also sell their meats to cook at home. if you are impressed by large fishbowl sized margaritas, wait staff that sings happy birthday, and a plate full brown covered in melted cheese, this may not be the place for you. if you are looking for tacos of excellence served by a friendly staff where you can also buy some spicy candies to take home, you will love this place. The friendly neighborhood atmosphere is five star.”

“After eating lunch at the Chick-fil-A across the parking lot, I stopped in here to pick up some drinks. Since I only had a couple of items, I opted for self checkout. We don't have Meijers back in CA, but I found this one to be clean, well stocked, and well organized. Also the prices were good.”
