Unless you're an immigrant or a homeless person you're not getting help. I came here to get help looking for employment the day I got laid off. They sent me on goose chase. I had to send my email to a lady and she had to call me and she was in Kingsville so I had to go to Kingsville to find out that I couldn't get help until the next 10 days. Went into SEEC to use the computers the next day to print my resumes off, and the homeless people were on the computers listening to music and playing games and there was no computers available. I asked the lady across the hall if I could use one of the 10 laptops sitting on the table in the other room, she told me no because it's for the immigrants.Thank you for being useless.

I absolutely appreciated the help I got with building my resume, the advice they gave me for job searching and interviews plus they helped me with getting necessary items needed when I got my job. Wonderful and compassionate staff and a very friendly and relaxing environment. I highly recommend utilizing their services if you need help with gaining employment!!!

Not very accommodating to those with physical disabilities looking for transportation... our community does not have a taxi service that offers wheelchair accessible vehicles so SECC is the only option... They don't operate on weekends or "after hours", and if you're looking for transportation anywhere other than a medical appointment, they suggest that you look elsewhere first and get back to them if you have no other options rather than allowing you to book a ride right away... we have also had different drivers refuse to take us unless we had a specific type of wheelchair. I understand that there is likely a lack of funding available and that there are safety precautions that need to be followed, but they really are not very accommodating to paying customers. The only reason for 3 stars is that their prices are reasonable if you're looking to travel locally and are lucky enough that they will allow you to book a ride.
