Charles Daley Park is an absolute treasure, deserving of every one of its five stars. Here's why I adore this place:\\n\\nScenic Beauty: This park's location along the shores of Lake Ontario provides awe-inspiring views. The tranquil and picturesque setting makes it a haven for relaxation and picnicking.\\n\\nPerfect for Picnics: Families and friends will love the well-maintained picnic areas, complete with tables and benches. It's an ideal spot for gatherings, picnics, barbecues, or simply enjoying a meal outdoors.\\n\\nExploration Awaits: Nature enthusiasts will relish the walking trails that let you immerse yourself in the park's natural beauty while savoring the lakefront scenery. It's perfect for leisurely strolls or brisk walks.\\n\\nFamily-Friendly: With a playground for kids, Charles Daley Park caters to families. Children can have a blast here, and it's a family-friendly destination.\\n\\nExciting Events: Keep an eye out for events and gatherings, including outdoor concerts and community activities. There's always something special happening to enhance your visit.\\n\\nBirdwatcher's Paradise: Birdwatching enthusiasts will be thrilled with the park's proximity to Lake Ontario, which makes it an ideal spot to spot various bird species along the lakefront.\\n\\nUnforgettable Sunsets: Charles Daley Park is renowned for its breathtaking sunset views over Lake Ontario. It's a must-visit for couples and photographers seeking to capture the beauty of the setting sun.\\n\\nA Personal Retreat: Personally, I find myself visiting frequently, sometimes just to sit back, sip a cup of coffee, and soak in the tranquil atmosphere. It's a perfect escape.\\n\\nBut, alas, there's a perplexing downside. Despite numerous garbage cans scattered throughout the park, it's disheartening to witness some individuals littering. Let's all do our part to preserve the park's pristine beauty.\\n\\nAnd finally, a little secret tip: Don't forget to visit for fireworks displays! Witnessing the towns along the circumference of Lake Ontario light up with fireworks is nothing short of spectacular. It's an experience that's too good not to share. ???\\n\\nOh, and kayaking is another popular activity here that you shouldn't miss. Charles Daley Park truly has something for everyone! ?\\u200d♀️?

Good place to swim but keep in mind the beach is getting smaller every year and when you go into the water most of it is rocks until you get like 5-10 meter put then it turns into sand. It's a good place to bring your dogs for a swim or they also have a pavilion where you can picnic at. They also have washrooms as well there

What a lovely waterfront park. Huge oak trees, plenty of benches and picnic tables, a pollinator garden, beach, pavilion, and a river front trail.

Nice and quiet park with beach access and picnic areas. Only accessible parking are available on the beach side but there's 2 parking spots for 15 min drop off only. All other parking spots on the pavilion side and picnic areas are free. The beach itself is pretty rocky until you get further in and then it's sandy. Overall, a nice place for a stroll and/or spending time with family/friends.Picnic area: Picnic area on the left side of the park has about 5-6 picnic tables and are pretty spaced out. Parking is allowed on the grass next to the tables.

What makes this a hidden gem is the fact that it’s truly hidden. It’s beautiful and picturesque. The main entrance leads down to the waterfront which has a rock break wall and a big shelter with picnic tables. The main building has clean washrooms. If you follow the waterline to the left you will find a decent sized sandy beach. It has scattered picnic tables throughout the park, it also a few different parking areas. The main parking lot is huge.

Adorable little park. Nice stairway down the hill to the water. Benches along the lake and under the trees. Lovely breeze. Passing through for photos. Nice picnic area. Lost a star cause the ladies room wasn't clean.

Great place to enjoy your day by the lake. Dog friendly, evening sunsets are beautiful, Tuesday evenings in July have music entertainment with food trucks, prizes to be won, monetary donations appreciated by the Rotary Club for local charitable help. Enjoy the beach. Lots of free parking. Washrooms available. Pack a lunch and enjoy!

Polinator garden is beautiful. But bees also enjoy the clover flowers around it in the afternoon, and that's exact time when they run lawn mower over all of them, not leaving a single bee or a flower behind. And there is a way to leave low flowers and cut only tall grass, but they don't think, they just attract pollinators and destroy them all.

Nice park with lots of parkings. Although the water is a little bit dirty. Many people are fishing here, some of them even got big fishes. There is a small beach, people can get suntanned. There are lots of picnic tables, you can spend the whole day here, enjoy your food and the nice weather.
