Last time I go to this location. I'm from bc. Everytime I went to H&R there, their cx service was ALWAYS on point. I was never talked down to or judged based on my appearance or career.First time I came here I was talked down to with 0 bedside mannerism. I gave them a second chance, same issue. The older woman with short hair asks me how she can help (she was dealing with other cx) I told her I was there for an apt. She doesn't offer me a seat, simply tells me to wait. So, I take a seat myself. After she's done dealing with her cx she simply just looks at me and stares. Usually in this situation, it's common curiosity, and KIND, to say "hello, thank you for waiting, May I please see some id". Instead, I feel her gaze upon me and I look over and stare at her back. "I need id" she says in a rude tone. After taking it from me she throws it back and walks away. I watch and listen as an older couple come in after me, she suddenly perks up and gives them the best cx service with amazing bedside mannerism. Very prejudice. I'm then taken into the back and placed with a random woman. When I made the apt on the phone I was not asked who I wanted to be placed with so when the woman I was dealing with in person told me that "I bumped" another apt out or whatever I made SURE to tell her that when booking I was never given an option to request a person!!! She then didn't respond. No apology for making me feel like it was my fault or implying that it was. I've noticed a pattern with people here, as soon as you bring up valid points or facts about a situation, people simply don't respond. NO Cx service for the younger generation (Even though I'm adult) but I guess people judge based on looks here and lack knowledge of when it's appropriate to be kind or give cx to someone clearly younger then them.

We've used H&R for years - Me and my Husband - but likely won't be back due to the cost. So unfortunate it was $96 for mine and $109 for my husband. We can't afford it anymore. Otherwise, we've never had a issue before with this location.

Was doing my taxes here from 2015-2018 I was reassessed in 2019 because my taxes were filed incorrectly. When brought to their attention, they had nothing to say except "our bad" and then tried to book me a new appointment for that seasons taxes. Go elsewhere, they're incompetent.Edit: Called as the response requested, no answer. My review stands.
