When no one else seems to have what I want, they always seem to come up with it.

This is my first visit to this store, but will be back plenty.I was helped by Emmanuel, who was just terrific, he was able to answer all my questions and gave me a great price on all my AV equipment, better than any price I could find in Canada.Highly recommend you give them a shot before commit on anything online.

Last week I visited Audio Video 2001 and bought Onkyo CD player and also today, end up picking up 2 Klipsch speakers. Staff was amazing and they also price match the speakers. Can't wait to go back and buy more electronics. My last purchase was back in 2008.

I went in to shop for a car radio and the older guy there was extremely rude due to my “little knowledge” in what I was talking about. I don’t recommend this place

I spent upwards of $10,000.00 on a home theatre system from Mike at 2001 Audio Video and he was just fabulous. Best Buy new very little about doing home theatre's and was trying to over sell me on lots of items I did not need. 2001 Audio Video was honest and had staff that have been there for 25 years plus. these guys know there product very well. their pricing was very good but there knowledge is unmatched (period). I built a new home theatre with the help from Mike. He new how to pair the correct speakers, receiver and TV so everything would work together on one remote. I mean this remote works my xbox1, ps4 and fire stick and I did nothing to make it so. (Wow one simple remote works everything without having to pair them). I can't begin to tell you how blown away I am with this system. Honestly it's just unbelievable and I will never go back to a theatre again. If your only about the all mighty dollar it's close were ever you go. If your about honesty, service and getting what you want for your buck there is no comparison. I will only deal with 2001 Audio Video from now on. THANK YOU MIKE. :)

They have a nice selection of items and I have shopped there several times. However, they do not honour their price match policy. I brought them proof of an identical item and the guy simply refused saying he would not match that price. I emailed their corporate office and they just ignored me altogether. Not a great way to keep a customer.

Proactive staff and superb service.Ordered a phone set online. Got a call an hour later and an offer to pick the item in store (curbside pick-up) rather than wait for a week for delivery. Brought up a question of discount for in-store pickup as advertised online. 2 hours later got an email confirming that the coupon was applied (the appropriate discount amount credited back) and my item was ready for pickup. Wish every business offered their services this way!

I purchased a 43 inch Samsung HDTV 4K Smart TV just over a year ago and my manufacturer's warranty had run out. I did purchase a 3 year extended warranty though. I recently had an accidental impact with the screen while moving stuff around on my desk while organizing my gear to head out to do a photo shoot and accidently banged my TV with a controller from my game system. I took the TV to the store to get repaired or replaced, and they told me I had to take it to a repair facility further in the south end of the city. I spent over $500 for the TV and then had to spend a further $40 for cabs. I was just informed by the repair center that the 3 year extended warranty did NOT cover accidental impact and I am now out a TV. I will NEVER do business with 2001 Audio Video ever again and suggest nobody else does. Take your business to Best Buy or Walmart where at least it will be covered.

Horrible. Sold me a defective aux audio cable and REFUSED a refund or exchange. The manager told me that if it was broken I should "buy a new one" and then proceeded to harass me about my age and level of technical experience. Extremely rude, terrible products, awful customer service.UPDATE: DO NOT LISTEN to owner's replys, they are LYING. Customer service is their LAST priority. From what i have read, they REFUSE ALL RETURNS!!!. ABSOLUTE NONSENSE. Worst tech shop in London. Avoid at all costs.

Saturday night we had an accident involving our son, a toy and a smashed TV screen. We took the TV in for repair at the store in which we purchased from (best buy). Because the cause of the repair fell outside our warranty they refused to do the repair leaving us with an almost brand new (3 month old) TV that was garbage. Driving home I saw the sign for 2001 Audio Video. I had never been in so I stopped hoping they did TV repairs. Even though they couldn't help with the repair, the staff were super sympathetic and knowledgeable. We ended up working with Alex who did everything he could to get us a comparable TV without spending alot since we were already out 1 new TV. For an amazing price we got better brand TV (old one was Philips, new one is Samsung), amazing customer service and got to support a small box store which is so important right now. They even offered to take the broken TV to dispose of for us which Best Buy wouldn't even do.Definitely will be continuing to bring our business here.

The staff here know their technology and are very friendly. If you have questions and want the best recommendation before spending a lot of money then go here. Best buy blue shirts are a bunch of scrubs that don't know the difference between an OLED and regular LCD panel and will want to sell you a 200 dollar hdmi cable casually sitting on a hook attached to a sh*t stained metal shelf.
