Why does the 40 year-old manager surround himself with young women? A lot of them appear to be teenagers. I had always felt like saying something.. Hiring might be a bit selective.
I pointed this out to a staff member, and he did not like that. In essence, proving my point.
I have shopped here for the past 7 years, spent $200+ at the store this past week, and needed one more gift for my sister in law. I bought the item somewhere else.

(Feb 1, 2026): I received an email stating that the review was falsely reported as ‘spam’. That’s fine - I will keep reposting it then.
I will add that after posting this review, one of the higher level staff stalked me on social media.
The general manager knew me as a regular for many years, however I no longer feel safe or comfortable visiting this store.
I am not going to be intimidated by taking down this review however, thanks!

*Warning Do Not Shop Here* Worst experience of my life! I was shopping here 01/11/2026 Sunday evening. I came in just keeping to my self and shopping with my boyfriend of ''Indian dissent'' I myself im a muslim and wear a hijab and we tried clothing on in the change rooms the manager i assume? Older man ''White male'' Whispered something very rude about my dress and to try and ''lose weight'' i feel very hurt by this experience. Highly
recommend to everyone to shop somewhere else in this mall highly appalled by this harassment we need to do better in year 2026

Amazing customer service by Layla! She was so friendly and helpful! It was such an enjoyable encounter being served by her. She was so engaging and so easy to talk with. We have never had a negative experience here. Layla and her colleagues are assets to American Eagle! We will continue to shop here because of this wonderful service!

Always loved shopping at American Eagle. Went to this location recently and Izzy was super nice and friendly!! Was looking for a specific type of jeans and she helped me find exactly what I needed. Will be coming back to this mall for sure.

I always have difficulty finding jeans. I finally found a pair of low rise jeans but they were too long. The staff recommended ordering online and shipping to my home. When I got the jeans they were completely different and didn't fit. I called immediately and the staff put the original jeans I'd put the original jeans I'd purchased on hold for me to pick up. This required an extra trip to the store which is why I'm leaving 3 stars. The staff then told me that online is different then the store merchandise which has me perplexed.
Either way, I got the jeans that fit and the staff was friendly and made the return easy. They were also on sale so I recommend American Eagle for their pricing also.

As an almost 60 year old woman, I was well aware that I wasn’t in the AE demographic, when I walked into the store this afternoon. As a result, I was unsure how I would be received when inquiring about their jeans. Any concerns I had were instantly dismissed. I interacted with four staff who were all polite and attentive. These young people need to be encouraged and applauded for the good work they do. Annie, who assisted me in the fitting room is talented with what she does. Her manner was warm, approachable, and clearly knowledgeable about the clothing. I trusted her advice about size and fit. I felt relaxed and taken care of in my experience today. I didn’t feel out of place there or that I should be shopping for a grandchild rather than for myself. I will certainly return based on today’s visit. Congratulations on the excellent customer service which I have not experienced in quite some time. Best wishes to all.

Extremely rude, snotty, and stuck up staff, if you don’t want to do your job nor make sure clothes are where they’re supposed to be when they are on a clearance rack you should not argue with a customer telling them that they are wrong not only was it embarrassing, but publicly humiliating, I will not ever shop at this location nor American Eagle ever again I’ve wore their clothing proud for the last 20 years of my life, but really see the type of people they have selling any! Save yourself, the embarrassment and the humiliation and do not go to this store!

Went to the store to check out some options, so a lady came who is a worker there and rudely said that she arranged the clothes for 30 mins and not to mess it up. Like seriously? That's how you deal with a customer who just walked into the store? There were other people there too, and she discriminately walked to me and behaved rudely. I am too in the hospitality sector and never ever did that.

you’d think if you work at a mall
you wouldn’t money shame but you did and then for corporate to take 3 months to get the money back actually insane like literally
especially in a world where everything is so expensive
fix your money shame problem and the 3 month return system and i’ll fix my review
