CAA insurance is the worst experience I’ve ever had in my 50 years of being insured and never making a claim. It started with me spending 30 minutes plus with a sales person painstakingly outlining all the technical data around our home and auto (house size, heating, auto type insurance needs etc.) Apparently this person didn’t input my banking information correctly so that when the 1st monthly payment comes out my financial institution bounces the payment (all unknown to me). Instead of picking up the phone and calling me I get a letter in the mail that basically says pay up or we will cancel you! It was easily sorted but what an idiotic way to treat customers! My second and more troublesome issue is with my home insurance. On the initial sign up I was very forthcoming with regard to what I knew for sure about the late 40’s home and what I didn’t. Apparently that didn’t suffice so they sent a home inspector around and based on his assessment they come back to me and want another $200/ year. Not a big deal for sure but here was their reasoning. Said it was built in 1947 rather than 1949 (Apparently the inspector just choose this year based on the fact I told him late 40’s). The second issue is that they have it listed as a hot water forced air system , which it is not, it is a hot water forced circulation system. The customer representative I dealt with did not seem to know the difference so she came back with… well it’s a natural gas source which is true but they knew that at the original quote. The 3rd issue is with square footage. It’s a 2 story house with single story additions front and back. If you take the width and depth of the house footprint and multiply it by 2 (2 stories) it overestimates the living area and hence I get about 1500sf whereas they have it at 1704sf, which apparently is the main reason my rates have increased from my quote. All this and we are 1/3 through the policy period. I don’t mind paying for insurance but please base it on fact. As far as I’m concerned they are nickel and diming me short term rather than looking at good customer service. Heaven forbid I ever have to make a claim! These policies run out and no more CAA.

Great place for maps and other things but if you want to book an appointment with a travel agent, expect to wait a week or so. We went somewhere else.

I just want to let you know that I have never had any issues with CAA and I have been a member for 50 years. Everyone I dealt with have been very polite and nice. If they couldn't come right away they always kept in touch with me. Yes I have had an accident, many times to give me a boost and now do my winter tires. Thanks to all.Love the blanket.

This isn’t an issue with this location, but with CAA in general. On September 29, I was involved in a comprehensive collision ..I was advised by CAA towing that they would tell me to the nearest dealership because my vehicle is an EV.I want to preface this by saying it is not an EV issue, it was an issue with a boulder hitting my front tire damaging the controller.CAA was supposed to have an appraisal done, which they did very timely, but the communication from the appraiser and My adjuster has been absolutely abysmal. We are now almost a month later, and the approval has not been figured out so that the company can order the parts required to fix my vehicle back to newI have never dealt with an auto insurance company that has been so reluctant to communicate with its client regarding the accident. Moreover, it feels that the left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing with this company.Every time I call and speak to CAA directly after over a hour wait time…one of their customer service reps proceeds to get work done, but the adjuster does absolutely nothing! The last time I spoke with him, he complained about his personal life, and that he has too much on his plate, and that sometimes he forgets to do things. This is absolutely, unacceptable by an insurance company! If I had known this, I would not have signed up with CAA, and would not recommend them at all! This has been a very disappointing situation, and I don’t wish anybody to have to deal with it!
