I went to a store and bought roti. When I came home and ate two rotis, I noticed a bitter taste. I then saw that the best-before date was 2025/08/08. The product is no longer good, as it is already January 2026. Please check the date when you buy products from here.

Went to this grocery store yesterday their customer service specially Daniel and the lady who was at the cash and helped me find products was overwhelming. The meat was very good quality and fresh and was given with care as I requested.

Wrong hours on google. Came for 10 on a Saturday because that’s what it says their hours are and they were closed. Such a waste of time.

I've been a loyal customer for their cut and chopped whole chicken, but after being overcharged twice, I will never return to this store again.
Today, I ordered a chicken at store at the usual price of $4.99/lb and when I returned to pick it up, the bald guy was hesitant to weigh it in front of me and quickly claimed it was 14 lbs by weighing it in minuscule of seconds. I saw the scale read 13.69 lbs. He then charged me a flat $75.
To verify, I had the cashier weigh it - she confirmed 13.69 lbs. I paid and calculated the cost in my car: at $4.99/lb, the total should have been $68.30.
When I went back to question the $75 charge, the bald guy suddenly changed the price, claiming it was $5.49/lb. This lack of transparency is unacceptable. The price is not posted, and he only revealed it after being caught. Reading other reviews, this seems to be a common tactic. I strongly advise customers to double-check their weights and totals.

Bad experience with the women at the cashier, she was talking on her AirPod and wasn’t listening to the customer needs which is me. She gave me bad looks and she overpriced the item that was not worth the amount I payed for short answer don’t come here and if you do please ask how much the product is and calculate before hand thanks

I have not seen a store with so much Indian variety food. People who are new to London Ontario and love Indian food should visit this store. Prices are reasonable and you can get variety of Indian lentils, fast food. I am a regular shopper here

One of the biggest issues with Desi Point is the ridiculous overpricing, and I personally experienced it when I was charged $77 for just 3 pounds of goat. That’s more than double what other halal shops in London charge, where the same meat usually goes for $9–11 per pound. I’m not the only one—older reviews repeatedly complain about being ripped off, with prices changing at the counter and no clear explanation. Many also call out the bald guy at the counter, saying he’s rude, unhelpful, and dismissive toward customers, which was exactly my experience too. Pairing this kind of attitude with such inflated prices makes it clear that no one should ever visit this place, especially for meat, unless they want to waste their money and leave frustrated.

I had a bad experience at an Indian grocery store called Desi Point.
There’s a bald guy at the counter who overcharged me by $13. The main issue is that they don’t give a proper receipt just an old-style total amount slip that doesn’t list the prices of individual items.
This actually happened for the third time. I had noticed earlier that he was overcharging during calculations, so yesterday I decided to double check everything. I told myself I wouldn’t let it happen again and yet he still tried to overcharge me.
Please be careful, everyone.
Always recheck your bill before paying or consider going to a different grocery store to protect yourself from being taken advantage of by people like this.

Do not buy from this store! The lady at the counter tried to scam me out of my money by charging additional items which I didn't buy. Later When I went in my car I realized She didn't give me the grocery list receipt instead just handed the bill receipt. When I went back to ask for grocery receipt she tried to get out of it my saying they she charged me for additional items without I confronting her on it. I knew because she was defensive without I even bringing the issue. She also tried this scam many times with me. I will never visit this halal grocery store anymore. Also the meat and other desi items are expensive compared to other desi halal grocery stores. Avoid at all cost..

I recently had a disappointing experience at this store. The price for 2 pounds of goat meat was $41, which I found excessive. Upon further investigation, I discovered that a nearby shop offered the same quantity at half the price. I was surprised and felt overcharged.
Additionally, I was taken aback when the man/butcher asked weather i eat beef, which seemed unnecessary and intrusive.
Due to these issues, I would advise others to explore alternative options. Unfortunately, my experience at this store was unsatisfactory.
