Called about a dog being abused and nothing was done to help the dog when they went to visit the home. Sad how we could careless about an animals state of living but it's on them if they don't care. Thanks for nothing tbh and thanks for not coming to my door as I've had videos and pictures for proof. Police 2.0 over here tbh.

Had to register a new dog. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Wish you could do this online as we had to provide proof of neutering.

Totally rude and disrespectful. Not understanding re. my concerns or predicament. Threatening me with a fine. I have every right to call and see if someone at my door is a scammer and get their money to them when I can. A woman named Beth is the person I dealt with.

I brought the neighbourhood cat to LACC and pre-adopted him. LACC had him assessed, neutered, microchipped and more within 5 days. It was very clear that, during his stay, Ziggy was well taken care of. I dropped him off on a Monday, and on Saturday I brought him to his forever home. All staff that I interacted with, over the phone and in person, were very caring and made sure to give me all the information I needed.

I got a phone call that my cat was dropped off (we adopted her from SALT, so she was still getting use to us and she ran out the door after company came in and went missing for a number of days) they called me and I came immediately. But when I got there to pick her up, the secretary was not at all friendly or kind. She then waved over an animal control “officer” who stood behind her looking at my file and then he told me I could be fined for letting my cat off of my property, not in a nice way. I found them both to be extremely rude and judgemental. they acted like I was negligent and made me feel very bad about picking up my cat. In my opinion this is very poor customer service and neither one of them should be working with people if they can’t have compassion and empathy for other people. It’s not necessarily the owners fault everytime a cat gets out and runs away and shame on them for being so judgmental and rude about it. I hope I never have to step foot in the LACC ever again because of them.

They are amazing here, and they are amazing for helping all these animals. All my cats were always adopted from here. And we now have been fostering to help them out.

Although the staff were polite and professional, they saw fit to euthanize a lost cat that I found. Supposedly the cat was old and beyond recovery. Stranger than that, the cat was put down within 24 hours of being surrendered. I don't think I can condone this. What makes this a tragedy is that the cat's family was found and contacted. They arrived there the day after the cat was found. Not soon enough. This tragedy devastates me. Maybe if you find a lost pet, attend to its care and safety. But use one of the many online Facebook groups and professional websites that deal with locating lost pets. I can say from personal experience that they were more helpful in resolving this problem.Rest in peace, kitty cat. Your family has closure at least.
