BEWARE!! Micheal hill products are low quality garbage!!Repair center is an absolute joke. Wife's wedding band will be going back a third time in as many months for missing diamonds on the same side that has been "repaired and thoroughly inspected".Save yourself alot of headaches and aggravation and spend your money somewhere else!

Bought an anklet in December 2023. Broken by February 2024. The staff at their Masonville Store only said "sorry, nothing we can do since you didn't buy our repair plan". Will definitely NOT recommend.

Purchased a gold Anklet online as a gift for ChristmasAfter about 2 weeks it broke and the recipient took into Michael Hill store at White Oaks mallThe anklet carries a 12 month warranty and apparently the warranty will not cover a break and will cost $77 to repair

My parents got me this cross for Christmas. They originally ordered the smaller version but we switched it for the larger one which is way nicer! It was on a sale but was still very expensive. The chain was bought separate because the one it came with was to thin. Overall it's beautiful and I love it! They shipped it out quick as well. Staff was very helpful.

Michael Hill in White Oaks Mall is awful. They take no time to make sure your ring size is proper. They will order what they think is best, not what you think is best. 1st and 2nd ring came in the wrong size. Even though the 2nd ring had an estimated arrival date after the wedding date, they insisted it would come on time. It did not. However, I trusted my instinct and went to Michael Hill at Masonville. They rectified the situation within DAYS! White Oaks Michael Hill took several months and they still couldn't get it right. I highly recommend Masonville Michael Hill. They know what they are doing and looking out for your best interest.

We got our wedding rings here and purchased the lifetime extended warranty. I have used this warranty in the past with absolutely no issues. I went in, however, the other day to buy a ring I have actually been looking at for 3 years. This ring was going to cost around 3k. But I had an issue with my wedding ring and was denied service before anyone knew i was there to buy another ring. Peoples was happy to assist in the purchase of my new ring, and I won't be back to Michael Hill. Stay consistent. I should get a refund on my warranty when, in fact, there is no longer a warranty." But she did offer to quote the repairs. But if I gotta pay someone to fix my wedding ring, it won't be Michael Hill that fixes it. After reading other reviews, it seems this is an ongoing issue. Early signs they may be headed out. Buyer beware!! You have lost another customer for life ..*****update***** they just wanted to email me to tell me again that the policy has changed without notice, which voids all previous arrangements. They have my phone number address email. They could have said there is an update to the policy and to keep it in good standing you now have to have the inspections documentedand its up to the customer to keep and carry these records at all times. No customer service. The lady at the counter said she couldn't find me in the system but then called me by my name when I never interduced myself. All I gave her was a phone number. Then, after telling me my money is no good there, she asked if I wanted a quote to have it fixed. The ring was melted, and the value was put towards a new custom set of rings for my wife and I. Why a company wouldn't want to retain customers is beyond me at this point. And in a crazy time like now. They clearly have enough customers without me. I'll go where I feel like I'm the only customer amongst a crowd of people. No longer will I begg for a corporation to take my money you're going to earn it !

Absolutely great experience. I had an issue with the Masonville location where a sales rep tried to blame me for a clear defect to a Tungsten ring I had purchased. I took it to the White Oaks location and right away Ryan welcomed and took care of us. He inspected the ring, found there was absolutely no other damage to the ring besides it being severed right through the shank. He just so happened to have the exact same ring and size in store and did an exchange no questions asked. I am also pretty sure Ryan is the one who helped us upgrade my wifes wedding ring a few years back, he is a very good representative of the company and a great person to deal with. Customer service was an A++ in my books and is why I will continue to shop at Michael Hill.

My family has purchased all of our jewelry at Michael Hill for 10 years and purchased pretty much every warranty on said jewelry. I have never had a bad experience until today. My husband bought my engagement ring at Michael Hill 11 years ago and we were never told or given some formal paperwork nor told I needed to attend every 6 months to get some signature for inspections as I was informed today. I had the same diamond fall out a year or two ago and at the time they replaced it no problems asked under my normal lifetime protection plan. The manager flat out told me he is the new manager for a reason as they were doing things they were not supposed to. As I have been coming at least one a year to have my ring redipped I would love to know why no one had mentioned said paperwork as my ring comes with diamond protection but because I don't have some peice of paper I am not covered. This is legit the worst customer service I have ever experienced, especially considering i had purchased lifetime warranty and had all the receipts but it still wasn't honored. You have lost a customer for life. Extremely disappointed and angered.

Absolutely ridiculous!! I got a diamond bracelet as a bridal gift from my sister, took it in for sizing. They made me pay $57 to take off 3 stones. Second day I come back after the sizing because it broke right away so they send it off again. Come back to pick it up, the diamond is foggy, they offer to send it back AGAIN. That’s a total of FIVE weeks without my bracelet. Then they say they can’t do anything about it!!!

Unreal....the life time diamond warranty isn't worth the paper it's written on. I've taken my ring in every 6 months for inspection. The ring is only 2 years old and there is a tiny crack in one of the stones. But, some person in Alberta says the ring has never been inspected and nixes the warranty. My paperwork shows the dates but they say that those aren't inspectio dated. BE WARNED

My partner and I have been shopping around for some time now for an engagement ring and have been feeling a little discouraged about the lack of knowledge from staff and quality of assistance from other retailers and Michael Hill locations. We met with Pearl from the White Oaks location and she was so incredibly helpful and encouraging! She understood what we wanted and made lots of helpful suggestions while also bringing us a bit out of our comfort zone in terms of ring style. She is fun, knowledgeable and very helpful. Highly recommend meeting with Pearl!

I never do any Google reviews ever. But this one I had to. Went to the Masonville location for a specific ring and all 3 of their sales team told me that I can’t pre order the specific ring to the desired size by resizing or making a custom ring order(the customer chat said I could when I gave them the ring details). Ended up at the white oaks locations to order it. Wow! The best customer service from ‘Jasmine’ and ‘Rafi’. Both of them are very welcoming and showed excellent customer service with good communication. They did the order in like 10mins we were there. Really happy I could order the ring.
