Went today at 7pm and they are closed, posted close time is 10pm. Not the first time recently that they have closed early or opened later. Staff are super friendly but the lack of consistency to sticking to posted hours of operations is frustrating. They used to put signs up saying reopening in 10 minutes and stuff but they don't do that anymore. They turn off the lights and lock the security door and instead of going back there to check again tonight, I will go to Ben's variety on Wharncliffe and give them my business.

When I lived in the area this is a convenience store I would often stop by. It's amazingly placed right next to a beautiful park and is the perfect stop for an ice cream treat on a hot park playday. It's one of the corner variety stores that has lasted the test of time in this area and is a staple of the neighbourhood.

It’s normally good but in the summer of 2022 (September) I bought a snow cone from there, and there was white stuff (not the wrapping) at the bottom, almost like a cottage cheese / sour cream thing. Glad I didn’t finish it

Lately it's been 6 times in a row I come there nobody's in, they usually leave a note last time no note just locked door. It's open but nobody's ever in just sign says open and locked door.
