Horrible service in a disgusting area. Manager has little man syndrome and more interested in teller than doing business. RBC will get complaint

Brutal service. The worst. Call 3 times and enter info only to be told by recording to then book appointment. I will love everything out of RBC as soon as I can. Are you afraid to talk to people? Unbelievable.

Banking has changed a lot over the years. So has this branch. Neither for the better.I had an extremely poor customer service experience at this branch a few years ago and haven't done much in-person banking since. In the last week, I've been in three times.New staff, same experience. The staff are lazy and the manager... Unjustifiably arrogant, with very poor people skills and a distinct inability to actually, actively listen. One of the things I wanted done while I was in the branch was lowering the limit on my Visa. The girl replied that, while she could do it for me, I could easily do it at home and quickly told me where to find the option. She just didn't want to press the buttons herself. So I did but I shouldn't have had to.The same girl told me that I could earn reward points on my debit card just like with my credit card. Said I could also do that at home and she'd send an email. She hasn't. As for enrolling myself, not according to the RBC website. I have to call or go into the branch.Agents or advisors or whatever they call themselves now, aren't much better on the phone. They always assure me they can handle everything I need and almost always have to transfer me... for simple day-to-day banking matters. But hey, at least I'm just sitting on hold, not wasting a trip to the branch.

Going to this bank to get something figured out is about as useful as using diarrhea as windshield wiper fluid.

I personally have never had a problem with this branch it's much better located from the where they moved from. I've always experienced a high level of courtesy and customer service.

I have had a business bank account with Royal since 1991. This branch is my home branch. I have always had satisfactory service here.

This is absolutely bizarre place. It's working okay as long as they don't have to do anything. But when there's anything you need THEM to do - everything is going awry EVERY TIME! They seem to can't get anything right on any level! For the second time in a row they've failed to re-issue my expired credit card in time. Previous year I only had to wait for like 15 days. This year I've called 5 times to find out what's wrong - and every single time I was reassured, that this time it's going to be okay and I'll get my card. Nothing. Nada. Zilch. On the last, fifth, call I was notified over the phone, that my credit account was closed and that I have to re-apply for it.Which I will do.In another bank.

I am trying to get in contact with a human. Every time I call it wants my card number, and I DO NOT HAVE ONE YET. So you're telling me I am not able to contact RBC unless I have a card? How am I supposed to get one then. Tried 4 different numbers and all of them are the same. Got approved for a CC there, but don't even want it anymore. How can people also bank at this location between 10am-5pm.... not sure how people who work 9-5 can accommodate this?Super frustrated as we are in the middle of a pandemic and they should probably have some way for people to contact them over the phone. This is why I stick with TD.

Don’t go into this branch. I opened an account online, was told that all I had to do was a phone call due to COVID to verify my account. Once called the guy said oh no you do need to go in... then tried to push for a credit card. Said no and went in, they took down my drivers license and health card. My account online worked for a day. Then it was locked out again and when I called in they said I needed to go in to provide my drivers license and health card.... Super unprofessional, they can’t input important information that shouldn’t be thrown in limbo. Now who knows where my info is that they took down. Customer service phone line are brain dead too so.... good luck if you go to this branch! Also - my fiancé did the EXACT same thing as me, we both opened an account and went in to get it verified yet his worked fine after a day, mine didn’t and they just “magically” lost all my info. Not impressed go elsewhere!

I'm Not impressed with this whole on line or phone appointment banking structure RBC has now if its anything slightly complicated. And the advisor whom you speak to when you call in can not handle what you are trying to do if it anything other than a mortgage, loan, account transaction. Anything more complicated and they are just trying to push a phone appointment. Gees why can't you just speak to people any more. I used to have a personal banker and it was so much better ..
