I come here all the time with my girlfriend. Being able to buy alcoholic drinks here is a nice plus. Saves me a 3 minute walk to the the LCBO across the parking lot.

Lots of great options in this store.During COVID they had many safety measures.Just bought a fresh loaf of French bread. It was moldy, according to the person about to eat it.

One of the better grocery stores in London, Ontario. I hadn't been to this location before but was pleasantly surprised by their produce section, their bakery, and their selection of Natural/Health and Organic product offerings. Thanks!

Usually come to this store for my groceries but this has now happened twice, someone digging into the strawberries or...? And even if someone did, why would they put it back in?On the other side, the produce typically is fresh here compared to other spots. Good prices on chicken and meats. This place always has Hungarian peppers (and others) that I usually can't find other places. This location sells alcohol. This location has great deli food/meals. This store carries a bunch of low-fat options (ie. cheese, egg whites). This store has a decent produce section comparable to Superstore or Loblaw regarding the size and variety. Always carries seasonal items. This location also has self checkout that offers cash withdrawal with no fees. This location offers a decent supplement and organic section.Overall, a decent location for groceries with good deals. I would say the biggest pro for this store is what I mentioned above, all the different items/categories of items that are sold.

Superb customer service! We regularly shop here, because the ambiance is soothing and unhurried, the staff are wonderful, they have a good selection of gluten free food, and the products top notch. We were there a week or so ago to buy steak that was on special. They were out. The clerk told us we could call ahead and ask to have some put aside next time. Husband was sceptical, but this week we called, and they had our steaks as promised. Great job, Sobeys!

Sobeys Extra, where grocery shopping becomes an epic quest for snacks and produce! It's like a labyrinth of food choices, and I'm the brave knight on a quest to find the elusive frozen pizza dragon. But beware, the temptation to buy a family-sized bag of chips when you only came for lettuce is real! The only thing "extra" here is my shopping cart size, and my ability to convince myself that buying a dozen donuts is just "being prepared." Sobeys Extra, where impulse buys are a way of life! ???

The "extra" is short for "extra difficult to find things"... Relatively speaking, it's not a large grocery store compared to others on the west end, but I find their stock limited. To top it off, it's nearly impossible to find what you're looking for unless you shop there regularly. I've gone a few times, struggled to find what I was looking for, only to find that even a staff member couldn't help me find it either.Pair this with higher than average prices, and the reasons to shop here are minimal.

Large store that has food and goods. They have some organic products for fair prices. I got organic blackberries for 2.50 CAD and mushrooms for 3.50. Their compliments brand is pretty good and the organic compliments chocolate is particularly impressive. The only thing they lack is more grassfed beef and organic meat options, but they stock ground bison and lamb.

I know it can be a bit pricey sometimes, compared to other local supermarkets, but the quality and freshness of products are just amazing. Make sure you check Flipper for its weekly offers.
