Value Village, a Savers brand, is a global thrift retailer that offers a wide selection of gently used clothing, accessories, household goods, and CDs. Known for its commitment to sustainability, the store operates under the Rethink Reuse® business model, which focuses on purchasing, reselling, and recycling to keep over 700 million pounds of used goods out of landfills annually. The store supports community programs by purchasing donated items from nonprofit organizations, providing vital funding for local services. With over 300 locations and 20,000 employees, Value Village aims to promote recycling and circular economy practices. Customers appreciate the store's affordable prices and the thrill of discovering unique, hard-to-find items, especially in the music and clothing sections. The clothing selection is praised for its variety of sizes and styles, with some noting good deals for resale or personal use. Many find the store a fun and surprising shopping experience, particularly when hunting for specific items or rare CDs. The store's focus on sustainability is also valued, as it encourages recycling and reuse. However, recent changes have impacted the shopping experience. There is no longer a changeroom, and all traditional cashiers have been removed, with self-checkouts often requiring staff assistance. Prices have increased over time, and some items, especially in home goods and clothing, are considered overpriced for second-hand products. Organization can sometimes feel chaotic, making browsing less efficient. Despite these issues, Value Village remains a popular spot for affordable second-hand shopping and supporting eco-friendly practices.
I love this new location! There's so many options and honestly, just grab a cart everytime, you'll find things, and then have to go back for one anyways.

Unfortunately they only have self checkout. I think I'll stick to Talize and Goodwill.

Stopped by to find some warm sleepers for boys aged 6-12 months in the fill a bag section but they didn't have anything the day I was there which was disappointing.
