I'm not one to normally write a review, but yesterday I recieved some of the worst costumer service I've ever recieved.I frequently go to this location, so much that some of the employees know my kids names. I enjoy this location, it has a large selection and has some of the best things in store compared to others - although priced high sometimes.Yesterday I purchased an electronic kitchen appliance (a stand mixer) and was refused an exchange. It was priced for nearly $40 but I figured that it was a good enough deal because they go for nearly $200 brand new. I tested it, the light turned on - but I didn't try the mixing functions because the attachments were taped up, making me unable to test those functions. But because the light turned on, I figured it worked. When I brought it home, I took the tape off and cleaned it, which also involved taking the sticker off. Once it was all clean, I tried the mixing functions and it turns out that the motor was broken, making the mixer essentially useless.I called a different value village that was closer to me to see if they would honor an exchange because its quite a drive for me with both small kids. I was told they were more than happy to do so, unfortunately I was unable to find something in that store that I wanted to exchange my broken item for (lol)So I brought it back to this location, right off the bat I was treated poorly and was told he was making an "exception". So I wander off and try to find an item to exchange the mixer for, he came up to me in the aisle and told me there was nothing he could do because there was no sticker. I provided the receipt and not only that, he was the one who assisted me with checkout that morning. I tried explaining that $40 is a lot, when the employees are responsible for placing FUNCTIONING items on the floor and pricing them accordingly. If you care about good customer service and how you're going to be treated, maybe go to a different location within London.

This location is less busy than others and very well laid out. However the staff dont seem friendly at all. I go to this location simply because it is less crowded.

Every time we try to donate they refuse items because they are not “to there standards”or needs to be wiped down. I was actually told to to wipe down a microwave and then they will take it l. Tried to donate things tonight and the guy kept pointing out things (like it has a mark, dirty etc) you guys are a joke. Took it to the mission store and they were happy with the donation and took everything

It's one of my favorite stores to ship in. I haven't bought new for so long. I love the selection and pricing as well

This store is so expensive. People donating stuff from dollar store and they charge more money. I am sorry but $4.99 for used candle is ridiculous. I never ever will be donating stuff to this company

Not happy with value village in general these days. Fitting rooms not available anymore so can not try on clothes. Can't return if they don't fit. Exchange only. Prices have gone up too . I can buy the same item somewhere else new so No thanks. This particular store good selection of products but the prices . I'll pass.

Large store with lots of parking. Pricing is a bit high for the quality of goods being sold. Could find new, similar product on sale elsewhere for around the same price.

We've found that the prices have gone up dramatically, without the matching quality. They also removed all of their change rooms during covid, which is fine, but don't allow for returns - only exchange for store credit. If folks can't try on clothing in store, it doesn't seem fair to not allow them to return items that don't fit!

Always fun to see what treasures you can find!Found some decent clothes for a great priceWasn’t to impressed that I was forced to use the self checkout instead of the tellerYet the tellers are hovering over you to make sure you’re not messing upCan’t wait for my next treasure hunt

This was an okay thrift store that we visited while in Canada. The improvement that I suggest is in regards to the line system for checkout. It could be better marked and less clustered with people coming in the way that people go out.

I would give zero stars if I could, considering they get there content/inventory for free and we're in a recession and people are hurting for food, clothing and rent it is pretty sad they price gouge on alot of there clothing and items, if it is a name brand item they over price it, I asked associate that the jacket we looked at was more then buying a new one and all they say is oh well I didn't price it.....We will never walk in a Value Village again....CROOKS

Getting so expensive, a lot of items priced close to retail or over. Staff are friendly and the place is pretty clean. Not a fan of the self checkouts or staff trying to "help" me use them - either you're involved in the transaction as a cashier or if I ask for help, or you leave me alone.
