Customer service was terrible. One person working it while 5 ppl working the SELF checkout. Waited 15 mins to get a loonie for the carts to be told I had to buy something first. WHY DO YOU THINK I NEED A CARD. Who carries money with them these days. Never going there again.

Nikhil at the self check-out is an extremely rude individual and has anger issues. He threatened to slap a kid with special needs and was trying to intimidate the child's father. He even stated "if this was India I would've slapped the kid." Firstly, if you are working as a customer service associate, you need to learn how to deal with people, especially children with special needs. Secondly, if you have anger issues, you should NOT be working as a customer service associate. The management should take action against Nikhil and provide their employees with sufficient training to avoid such situations from arising.

Please FIRE Nikhil working around 7:50-8:10ish around self checkout.A special needs kid approached Nikhil and touched him while his dad was purchasing groceries. Nikhil got so angry at this he took the kid to the dad and out loud was screaming “IS THIS YOUR KID?! IS THIS YOURRR KID?!!!?”The poor dad was being apologetic and saying sorry he’s a special needs kid. Shortly after Nikhil’s coworker was telling Nikhil to calm down to which Nikhil said OUT LOUD “IF THIS WAS INDIA, I WOULD HAVE SLAPPED HIM”This is absolutely concerning. Walmart DO BETTER. You have someone working who would be willing to slap special need children. This person should NOT be employed in a customer facing role.To Nikhil - this is DEFINITELY NOT India. We don’t physically hurt people here. Especially NOT special needs children.

Walmart have always been the place I go to for grocery shopping. Today I was exchanging 2 cans of kidney beans because I bought the wrong ones. The Indian lady who was on the customer service tried to make me feel guilty for exchanging the cans saying that these will be thrown in the garbage !!... Well , first of all you can sell for half price or you can donate instead of telling me that. I am a customer and have the right to return/ exchange thing I believe there is no wrong in return. It is canned food at the end of the day.or you can change your policy Teach your employees how to behave with customers, if she was a little bit smart she wouldn't argue on two cans of food their cost doesn't exceed $3 . If you're that worried about food being thrown in the garbage, maybe you want to reconsider selling stuff that are expired or fridge items that has been taken from fridge for long time and found on the shelf and being returned to fridge for sale . Not so long ago I bought prei cheese that was on sale but it actually was gone bad already and was supposed to be put in garbage instead of putting on sale. That employee was working the evening of Thursday Nov23,2023 @ around 8:15 pm on the customer service. Pay attention to who you hire...

Can’t leave less than 1 star. I didn’t have change for a cart, no one would help in anyway. As someone else stated the LP follow you around constantly.

My shopping experience was completely ruined by LP following me around everywhere, I will never shop here ever again for being accused of shoplifting and needing to be followed around like I am a flipping child. Maddening. If you want to be accused of being a shoplifter definitely come shop at wal-mart, it’s actually appalling that they continually follow you around, left my full basket to LP to deal with putting back my would have been purchases:)

This morning I went to this Walmart location and honestly there is a reason they have such a low rating. I won't even give them one star but unless I give one star it wont even let me post. This store deserves no rating unless in the negative. There were three of us customers standing waiting in line at an employee checkout. Waiting for someone to open their station. I asked for them to open one and a female employee said NO. Honestly YOU CANNOT FORCE CUSTOMERS TO DO THEIR SELF CHECKOUT SYSTEM. I PERSONALLY HATE THEM AND UPON TALKING WITH THE OTHERS WAITING THE GENERAL CONSENSUS IS THE SAME.THEN YOU WILL TELL ME THEY CANNOT FIND PEOPLE TO WORK. NOW THINK ABOUT THAT, WHY??i actually left my cart and walked out of the store. This makes me very upset. I have never done that in my life.

Well my last trip to Walmart has convinced me that Amazon is where I'll buy everything going forward. Went there and they have now changed the carts to needing a dollar to use. I didn't have one went to the greeter who told me I had to wait at customer service to get a loon for my change. He did ask me if I had $5. because apparently I can buy something that will allow me not to need a loon. So no help in getting a cart and then after waiting to get a loon it did not work and I had to go back in to the same greeter and have him come out and pull the carts apart. Not worth the bother to go there anymore much easier to order from Amazon, no carts needed and not bad service which is always what you get at walmart

Today I went there for a regular shopping base and I went to the self-check and tried to scan all my items. The cashier (an Indian young girl) was behind me very closely, which I didn’t notice, and when I tried to search for my product on the screen, she jumped it to my screen and said not this way. I was shocked because I didn’t even call her for help, then I noticed that she was behind me, standing, watching which one I scanned or not. This is totally wrong and discrimination. What is the point of the self-check? And if the customer asks for help, they can ask. Standing behind the customer is totally disrespectful and also not good for privacy, my cards, etc. Please teach these young Indian students how to treat customers properly. Don’t just hire someone without any skills just because they need work.

What a mess of a store. Every time I shop here, I end up having to return items because they end up being a different price than what was labelled. One item I was looking for had 3 different price labels.Everything is also disorganized and the staff is unhelpful.

Went to Walmart for the first time in a while and didn’t realize you now need a loonie to use a grocery cart, so we picked up a rolling basket instead. After purchasing groceries, I was told we had to leave the cart in the store and CARRY all our groceries to the car. After purchasing merchandise from a store, my hope would be to see more customer service. If someone so desired to steal a cart they could still do so after putting the loonie in, and then taking it, which makes this policy ineffective. Customers should be trusted to use carts, as they are designed to enable more products to be purchased, rather than treating customers harshly because a few have chosen to steal. Perhaps you could look to how Superstore’s carts become inactive should someone try to leave the parking lot with them. I would like to see better customer service from a foreign brand, given that many Canadians would rather see their money go to purchasing Canadian.

This store gets 1 star because of how they have done so little to prevent the neighborhood from being covered in their shopping carts. It really is ridiculous and so ugly. Yes, I have shopped here. I actually used to work in White Oaks Mall so I have a lot of experience with this location. The staff is an angry, unhelpful bunch and the store is a mess. But I expect that from a place like Walmart. I don't expect them to allow the neighborhood, surrounding them, to be trashed.Edit: I didn't go looking for the carts, in the pictures. Those are just ones that I passed on my morning walk. I'm sure there are MANY more.

Prices are good, selection on groceries is good. And it's conveniently attached to white oaks mall so you can do all your shopping in one place without ever leaving the mall.

I got accused for stealing diapers even though I paid for them..they tried to make me pay for them twice..I'm sorry who in their right mind would try to steal something they can't hide..something that can be seen in broad daylight..check your cameras before you start accusing people I have never been more embarrassed in my life..I will never EVER shop at this store again!

I visited your White Oaks store today looking for a Turtle sand box for my grandson's birthday. I saw them in the Garden Center enclosure (which was locked) priced at $49.99. When I went to Customer Service inside the store to inquire about getting one, I was told the Garden Center was closed, and I couldn't get one. Is that a way to run a business, when you have product visible, but won't make an effort to sell it.
