Bought 2 MasterCard gift cards and was invalid after they made me pay. So the assistant manager came and cut the gift cards and said the money will be refunded after 3 days. It has been 2 months and there is no refund. I went to the store talked to the assistant manager(s) and raised tickets, and was promised they will find a solution in 2 to 3 days and they are deliberating putting my call on hold forever. I do not know how long it will take for the money to be refunded. Do not recommend buying any sorts of gift cards from this store at least!Update - received the refund in November. Refund requested in September. Emails and calls to Customer care and store assistant managers and managers helped!

A Walmart is a Walmart is a Walmart. There pretty much the same deal except this one doesn’t have produce. Otherwise the experience is pretty much the same. No issues here. Found what I was looking for and at a great sale price. ??

They closed the doors and locked them at 5:20pm on December 24th 2023 when they are open til 6pm they will not let anybody in no matter what! I DO NOT RECOMMEND GOING TO THIS STORE!

Just had a uncomfortable interaction today with the customer service representative named ''dong". I bought some dog food around last week and its unopened cups still in an unopened cardboard box. I wanted to return it because realized I made a mistake in my purchase. Went in to return it and she said she couldn't take it because "its a food item". I was like huh? and asked her "even if its completely unopened?". She proceeds to pry ever corner of the box to see if I was telling the truth, even though you can visibly see that its glued shut everywhere. She then tells me "ya, if its a food item and not purchased exactly within the week, we cant take it". I asked her "where does the store policy say that?". she's like "oh its not store policy, its like our policy, like we are going to throw it out." so I was like "so what can we do about this?" she's like "I can take it but just know that we are going to throw it out." Like what a unnecessary conversation and really she was really making a hassle out of this. I don't know if she was having a bad day but I approached her really friendly at the beginning. Maybe don't be weird and rude to people that are nice to you, dong.

My 16 year old just went into this Walmart to pick up a couple things, I sent him there. A security guard harassed him so badly that he had a legitimate panic attack in the store. The security guard searched his bag, which was from giant Tiger, then immediately accused him of stealing. My son had his receipts from each store he went into and was able to show the security guard who then ripped the receipts from my son's hand.The whole time he was extremely rude and accusatory to my son who had not done anything wrong. My son was polite and answered all the questions.My son came home and said..."he could have just asked if I had receipts...he didn't have to accuse me of stealing so aggressively".I'm so dissapointed and frustrated by this whole experience.I understand that this is a high crime area but that doesn't mean you should go around and accuse people for no reason.We both go into that Walmart multiple times a week and they've never batted an eye when I'm there with my son. I also understand teenagers can be thiefs but not every one of them is.The worst part is...he walked in with this giant Tiger bag (and receipts). I don't even understand the security guard jumped to this conclusion.

Greeter literally told me to have a terrible day on my way out. Unclear what his problem was, but obviously management is doing something to make their employees miserable.

Smaller store, no produce/dairy/meat. Not a lot of selection but usually ok.UPDATE:Today I was stopped at self checkout because the guy there was not paying attention enough to see me use the hand held scanner, and I had to point out the items he was hostile anout because he appatently was not able to read the store's own receipt.The cashiers have to be watched because they are hopefully sloppy and end up double scanning items and they can't even be bothered to bag anything so you have to do it while they glare at you for taking too long.There was an abandonned floor cleaning machine in the middle of an aisle and in another part of the store there were several skids of product to be put away. It was vwry hard to get around the store and then had issues at check out.BE VERY CAREFUL AT THIS STORE, THEY SEEM TO BE BLATANTLY TRYING TO SCAM/OVER-CHARGE EVERY ONE.I WILL NOT BE BACK, TOO HARD TO GET THROUGH THE STORE AND TOO DANGEROUS AT THE CHECKOUT

Really we don't go in there, unless we really have to, They sell no groceries. If I need essential, I head to Dollarama, if I need food, I go to Freshco. Our biggest issue with this store is the incompetent staff, Especially on the weekends and evenings. At times they have to use their phone to translate what we say into their own language. On many occasions we see staff talking to each other in foreign languages and laugh, at which point you are not sure if they laugh at you or on something else, but when you ask to find a product, they have no clue, or they just tell Lie to you that "They don't have it. On numerous occasions I was told this, yet I did find what I wanted regardless and when confronted the associate with it, They make excuses for their incompetence. Do Not recommend this store..Update to 2022: This Walmart store scammed one of my family members by asking for her ID for a gift card and someone signed her up for a credit card. Several days later we received a letter from Walmart financial, I confronted the manager and explained to her that she never provided her consent or signature, nor she ever wanted a Master-card. Her response was "We don't need your signature to sign you up. This manager was an older woman. So under no circumstance you should ever show any ID in this store. They will take advantage of this and steal your info. Stay away!

Store NEVER has anything! Staff are clueless about what is sold in their departments!! Standing around chatting and laughing in their native language with 3 of their coworkers is NOT customer service after a customer asks for help! Teach your staff some respect when it comes to customers not understanding their language!
