I visited this location today for a car wash that I bought from another location, tried to enter the code but keep decline. I asked for help, an esso employee came, I showed him the receipt, he said your transaction didn't go through when you bought the gas and the car wash, however I had to pay there cause lots of cars were waiting behind me.
I took the receipts and went inside to see what went wrong, they said you bought it from another location and we can't except it here. They charged me 2 dollars extra, they said because you didn't fill gas.
What a shame from Esso and this location manager. I will never fill gas from Esso again, already instructed all my company cars to stop buying from Esso anymore.

Went for a carwash today and gas. The carwash was somehow malfunctioning that it does not take the code properly and door does not open. Kalai was so helpful that he personally came out and troubleshoot the carwash station twice out in the cold despite the busy time and he was alone. That in my books is a great customer service, unlike the Esso station on Major Mackenzie and Vellore Ave where I had pretty much the same issue with the carwash and the attendant did not even bother or attempt to provide a solution. Every gas station should have somebody like Kalai - superb customer service. 5 thumbs up.

Accidentally added the car wash option and they weren't able to refund it inside! Absolutely horrendously predatory menu design on the pumps.

0Stars Scam please whoever is the owner of this Esso gas station the cashier should be fired who is working on the 8th September at 4:10pm! Totally rude you lost our business! Also there is something fishy with your machines selecting carwash and we didn’t even purchased it all the reviews are saying that your system is off!

Car wash SCAM. Check your receipt!
Went to this gas station around 4PM today (Sep 8th 2025) and got gas. Prepaid as per usual and selected no for car wash and they still charged for a car wash.
Went inside and the gas station attendant rudely just replied and laughed at me saying I must have pressed it and they can’t do anything. On the way out he mentioned that the car wash can only be used at their location and no other one.

DONT YOU HAVE “0” ⭐️
I’m regular customer for this location (3100 major Mackenzie dr maple )because I’m living right beside the street
I went to pump the gas to this location on June 28 at 11:57pm
It was saying I had to pay before pumping the gas. So I went inside to pay and I asked him $50 regular gas .so he’s charged me $50 for 42.410L
At $1.209 I have the receipt for that and then right away I went to the pump I was gonna pump the gas but the price was changed to $1:329 i went inside and I asked the guy he said don’t worry you will get what you paid for. I went to the pump and I started to fill up the gas and I got only 38.580L gas so they stole my 5L of gas and I went back to the guy and asked he started that’s not his problem if he told me earlier that I’m gonna get charged at $1:329 then I wouldn’t pump the gas (even I asked him before pumping the gas) I have to call head office it’s IT team problem and HE THROW ME A $2 and said keep it for your rest of the gas what a ridiculous customer service

There receipt machine is always out paper so you have to go inside just to get a receipt after self-service outside. That is truly annoying.
Their counter staff and management are very rude people they shouldn't be in the service of customers

Avoid this gas station—displayed prices don't match what you're charged. Staff is unprofessional and rude. I won’t return and will report this issue.
