The most expensive garage I've been to in Ontario. I honestly feel ripped off. $227.98 for a tire mounting and balancing was apparently too much. I made a decision to go to Gerry's in haste and it affected me greatly. I've had tire mounting and balancing done in Barrie, London, Scarborough and Pickering, no one has charged me more than $100 but this morning I spent way too much. I made the mistake of not asking the lady how much would they charge and she didn't bother to give me an estimate either. Gerry's is definitely not pocket friendly. So, if you ever think, "I'll go to the mechanic down the street it'll be alright" - NO! it'll not be alright! I did consult with my friends and colleagues, the maximum anyone of then has paid for tire mounting and balancing in Vaughan is $140 I'm definitely never going back to Gerry's that's for sure, I don't enjoy being ripped off.

UPDATE:
I'm writing to update my original review. The mechanic was very responsive and worked hard to get my car finished as soon as he could. The alignment was off when we went to pick it up but they promptly re-did it. Despite the long wait, I'm very satisfied with all the work that was done as it seems to have solved the major mechanical issues we were experiencing, and they were able to work within our budget, sourcing used parts where possible. Thank you!
I've been very disappointed with the service at this shop. My Rav4 has been in the shop for 32 days now, and despite numerous calls and messages, I have yet to receive an accurate response or any meaningful update on the status of my vehicle. Communication has been extremely poor, and I feel left in the dark. I expected better customer service and timely updates.
Can someone please provide me with an update on my vehicle?

I have brought my car here twice for an oil change and the service is excellent. I must say though it has been difficult to get in contact with them.

Old school customer service! Easy to schedule work, drop off and pick up. Very accommodating, my sister was having car trouble the other day she was able to drop off same day and get an answer about what was wrong the next day.

A no-frills repair shop (ie: small reception area, no cafe, no free coffee, no free shuttle to drive you home or pick you up, etc) that does a great job quickly. Repaired my car in less than 24 hrs at cost ~30% of what the manufacturer quoted the cost at.
