I had a great stay. The desk staff was friendly & knowledgeable when I needed a mechanic. And gave options. The room was bright, clean and lovely. People in the town were friendly. Thanks so much! Exactly what I needed. Marathon seems to have every service needed!

Clean, spacious room in building next to main office. Small tv, no breakfast, checkout at 9am firm. Biggest complaint is no coffee/tea maker in room nor in ‘community hall kitchen’. Front desk worker polite and apologetic but no offer to provide a coffee maker for us. Signs with rules everywhere…they don’t want you to go to the front desk. Very impersonal compared to other accomodations along the north shore. Receipt is emailed to you the afternoon after checking out. No harbour, no view. Pricey at $139…$163 with tax for 2 people!

Lovely place - great value for price. Rooms is very large and the bathroom was extremely large as a handicap accessible bathroom.Everything was clean; the bed was very comfortable; the TV was very large, and I felt very safe. What really surprised me was the community refrigerator/freezer as well as a sink in the hallway. Everything was clean and tidy. The lady that checked me in was very helpful with information on places to go in the area; she was very courteous and kind.I highly recommend this Inn.

Really liked the setup, very good size rooms adjoining a common area, fridge in room plus large fridge, sink, microwave in common area. We were able to park the bikes just outside the window also.Lots of space in the room and bathroom. For those who want a pool - the lake isn’t very far away.

The service was amazing, the lady in the front desk stayed late to check us in. Very kind and helpful! The rooms were very clean and the beds super comfortable. Would definitely recommend!

4 stars for the clean! No amenities and early check out is necessary. But there's a friendly and helpful host.

Effective, clean, well maintained.Runs like clockwork, though the checkout time is a little early (9am), I'm normally gone by then anyhow.

Excellent place to stay! Sparkling clean modern rooms, comfy bed in the town of Marathon. I will stay here when I return.A few call outs - there's a mini fridge in the room, but no coffee maker. The microwave is in the common area along with ice machine. Check-in/out times are limited so plan accordingly.

Incredibly rude clerk. So many rules - including to use the back door! Had a $100 deposit on credit card in case we stole the paper thin towels. Warnings to keep quiet in the room. Clerk left at 7 pm with strict instructions not to lock ourselves out but also sometimes the door doesn't work!!! Strict checkout by 9 am or charged for another night. Room small but clean.

Pros. Spacious clean room. Close to restaurants and stores.Cons. Still stuck with COVID protocol while the rest of the industry has moved on. No breakfast as stated in the website. Check-in open for only 3.5hrs must checkout by 9AM.Overall pricy for what you get.

We've been traveling across Ontario over the past few weeks, and this place has, by far, been our worst stay. Not only is check-out time absurdly early (9am!), but their AC units are incredibly loud, waking you up every 20 minutes when it blasts back on. We ended up needing to sleep with the windows open instead because it was just too much. Our experience with the front desk lady was also very odd, feeling like an interrogation upon arriving. Do yourself a favor and stay down the street at Zero-100.

I really enjoyed my stay here. Spacious, clean rooms and access to an actual kitchen sink in the common area (beats trying to wash any dishes in the bathroom sink!). I only interacted with staff during check in but the interaction was very pleasant.
