Lots of difficulty with this company. My moving coordinator was often hard to get in touch with or just didn't respond until I contacted multiple times. There were frequently questions I asked that they did not have the answers to and it took multiple days and multiple attempts to contact them to get answers. Once my stuff was on the truck my estimate jumped (they weigh your stuff against the weight of the empty truck), but no one had the weight of the empty truck so it was arbitrary. I went with my movers to weigh it at a third party weigh station and the weight I was given by Centennial was incorrect when referenced with the actual weight that appeared. Truly headache after headache. If you have the money to go with someone else I say do it just to spare yourself the time, confusion, and stress. I've noticed in their reviews they seem to not take much accountability and respond with a different story, however this is exactly what happened to me. I have nothing to gain from writing a bad review. The actual movers themselves were exceptional and friendly and were equally as surprised about how bad corporate was.

Centennial Movers were awesome, professional and top notch. Happy with the whole experience and would definitely use these guys again, their guys were meticulous and totally pro. Great rates too with total customer support through Ian always ready to answer questions and Nate to make adjustments to pick up and drop off. Very satisfied with their service and highly recommend them.

I did A LOT of research prior to hiring Centennial moving. I read hundreds of reviews, talked to multiple moving companies, and took the time to read at least 5 terms and conditions documents from other moving companies. To say I was cautious and skeptical is an understatement.
Then I talked to Stan - for over an hour! I grilled Stan and asked every question I could think of. Stan was calm, listened earnestly, and guided me through all the fine print. Stan is the one who sealed the deal.
We had a small move (under 1000lbs), and did not want to be bamboozled. As a customer, you really need to take the time to be well informed and ask lots of questions.
Our move was a great success! Nate and his team consistently communicated with us. Stan answered on- going questions, and every item arrived in perfect condition!
What I loved the most was the authentic human interaction with Nate and Stan. Moving is stressful, and this team did a great job of staying kind and patient.

Exceptional cross-country movers ā highly recommend Centennial Moving, Steven (the agent with worked with) and the rest of the moving team!
I worked with Steven at Centennial Moving for our relocation from Vancouver to Toronto, and I can confidently say these guys are outstanding. Before choosing them, I spoke with around 15 different companies ā some gave unrealistically low estimates that later would balloon to $25K, while others quoted $30K right from the start. Centennial was transparent, fair, and accurate from day one.
They managed every aspect of our move: packing, loading, vehicle transport, delivery to both our Toronto home and storage facility ā all while meeting a strict drop-off schedule because we were driving across Canada ourselves.
The packing team was incredibly professional. Despite our prep work, they handled the full home ā including a large basement and garage ā in just a day and a half. They worked efficiently and carefully, using proper techniques for heavy items that normally require multiple people. When our belongings arrived in Toronto, another Centennial team unloaded everything with the same professionalism, reassembled furniture perfectly, and cross-checked every item using their detailed inventory sheets with photos and notes.
Out of over 10,000 lbs of items moved across the country, not a single piece was damaged ā which honestly blew me away. The only small hiccup was one misplaced item during unloading, but the team immediately found it, contacted the depot, and delivered it within a few days.
Their organization, communication, and care are top-tier. Even more impressive ā when one team wasnāt sure how to reassemble a specific item, they called the pickup team from Vancouver, who remembered the exact setup and walked them through it!
These guys are the real deal: experienced, detail-oriented, and truly professional. Fair pricing, exceptional service, and great people. I canāt recommend Centennial Moving enough.

I had a great experience moving from Vancouver to Waterloo with Centennial Moving. The team was professional, organized, and always kept me updated. Special thanks to Arsen, Jay, and Jose in Waterloo, the two movers in Vancouver, and Adam and Nate from the coordination and dispatch teams. Everyone was helpful and efficient. Everything arrived safely and on time. Highly recommend their service!

We were very disappointed with our recent experience with Centennial Moving. They advertise themselves as proud members of the Canadian Association of Movers (CAM) and promote promises like āOne Month Free Storageā and āTransparent Charges.ā In reality, we were charged $451.00 for warehouse handling under what was supposed to be free storage, and the actual moving costs ended up higher than the initial estimate.
Several of our items were damaged, including a 3-seat sofa and a plastic bin. Despite paying $315.70 for extended coverage, Centennial only calculated compensation on a reduced sofa weight (180 lbs instead of the 300 lbs listed in their estimate) and offered just $62.00 after the deductible. They later offered $100.00 ā but only if we signed a waiver preventing us from leaving negative reviews or harming their reputation.
The only positive part of our move was the packing and unpacking crews, who were careful and professional. Unfortunately, Centennial Movingās policies and compensation process were neither fair nor transparent, and we cannot recommend their services.

From the moment I called and spoke with Stan to book my move in, everything went seamless. My interactions with Stan were professional, flexible in nature and in changing move dates, all information was well explained and courteous in nature. Even until my final destination and move, Stan āthe manā (a nickname I came to give him) ensured that I was teamed up with movers who were smoke-free and extra careful with my belongings, especially with my breakables and artwork. I couldnāt have asked for a better and more caring frontline person to ensure my moves went smoothly and I was a happy customer.
Serhii and Andrei (the initial movers) were extremely careful movers and completed my move in a timely and organized manner. Ensuring that every item was packed and wrapped carefully, so as to ensure nothing was ever damaged during the moving process. Both movers were also dog-friendly too and empathetic to my excited pup who was more than happy and excited to have visitors, but at the same time, stressed by the move. My pup loved them.
As aforementioned, all of my belongings were carefully catalogued and wrapped in their thousands of moving blankets (thank goodness for these extras the company provides) and fragile items, were given extra care and protection.
Even moving the furniture into my new home went smoothly with my final movers, Jay and Andreii who were thorough and worked efficiently, carefully and more importantly, listened to my instructions on which rooms to move the items into.
Upon arriving at my new home and unpacking, I was very surprised to find nothing damaged and everything in tact. I have never had such an incredible experience like I did with this moving company, Centennial, nor have I ever opened boxes after a move and not found any items damaged. I am so grateful and relieved to see that all of my items were delivered in great condition. My initial moving team were so thorough, that I want to extend my thank you especially to them because they were awesome!
For a long distance haul, Stan and the movers ensured a very smooth moving process that was well organized and carefully done. I canāt sing all of their praises enough. Iām so grateful to Centennial Moving company for the best experience I could have hoped for and at the fairest cost.
I will definitely recommend this company to everyone and anyone!!!
As well, I will be using them again in the future, ā¦hopefully not anytime soon, since Iām still getting settled into my new home now and exhausted! haha

We just moved from Waterloo with this company. All our furnitures were well taken care of. They worked very professionally and dropped everything to the designated rooms. The only issue i had and im still having is one of my dressers came broken. I submitted a claim and currently waiting for their response. I will update my comment depending on the claims result but other than that everything is amazing
EDIT: moving company contacted me and paid me 70$ for the damage. And as promised i gave 5 stars. Totally recommended they are very professional

I highly recommend Centennial Moving for your cross-country moving needs.
I looked into many different companies and received many quotes, they were the most competitive. The clear, prompt, and supportive communication between myself and the long-distance coordinator (Steven Mills) was comforting. He set my mind at ease. When I had questions or concerns, he answered them all.
The process of completing the online estimate and inventory was clear and easy to update, and I appreciated the reminders to verify any changes.
Nate and Eric from the dispatch team were great too. The company sends emails to ensure all the details for pickup and delivery are correct, and both were prompt with responding to my questions and updates.
The two movers at pick-up packed everything with care, wrapping the odd pieces neatly and securely. They were very friendly (I'm sorry I forget their names, but one has initials JC š). They were efficient as well. I received the updated official inventory list and payload weight invoice within 24 hours...and it was below the original estimate too, woot!
The delivery only took 3 weeks.
Michael was the sole driver from Chilliwack, BC to Timmins, ON. I received a notice when he was 25 minutes away and once he arrived. We set up the parking spot and access to where I was storing my stuff, and I had the number checklist to cross off as my items were unloaded. He had a local mover to help which went very quickly, done within the hour (I didn't have any furniture, mostly boxes and bags). They took care to unwrap and place things in an organized way for me to adjust as I wanted.
All in all, it was a stress free experience.

We could not be more disappointed with the experience we had with Centennial Moving. Our belongings were picked up July 3rd 2025 fromThe Edmonton Area and not delivered until August 29th 2025 just outside of the Montreal area. Communication surrounding our move was beyond poor. Essentially we were told that we would be notified 2-3 business days prior to pick up and delivery of the belongings. We were given a date that would have been the last possible date within the contracts timeline, then notified due to mechanical issues the date would be pushed more than a week later. Time was taken off jobs to accommodate the delivery and facilitate unpacking. We were left without many essential items for much longer than acceptable. The pushed back date of delivery left us without items essential for back to school which then had to be repurchased along with many other things, making this far more expensive than needed. On top of that, if we were to pay with a credit card it would have costed over 100 dollars extra due to their fees. You can e-transfer, however with the price most banks do not allow that amount of money to be transferred in a single transaction/ let alone a 24 hour period. The only reasonable way to pay is with cash, which with that amount was uncomfortable to have on hand. Like other reviews have stated the final cost was more than we were initially quoted, so that was not a complete shock. I will say that the movers that packed and unloaded were good. They were professional and courteous as well as efficient. At the end of the day if you are hoping to receive your items in a reasonable amount of time and receive clear communication I would strongly advise not to use this company. The amount of stress and anxiety that was added to this move was exponential and unnecessary due to centennial moving.
