The lady who scheduled my appointments didn’t seem to understand what I was trying to explain. Her initial response was, “What do you need?” which felt impersonal and lacking in customer service finesse. Overall, I wasn’t satisfied with the level of communication or the tire service experience.

Let me summarise how terrible this place is and I hope this is not what Costco stands for when standing by their mission and values.
December 1st booked appointment for 15th.
Purpose : new tire installation (all season)
Center rescheduled for Dec 9 as slot available for 7 30 AM. Until this point everything seemed wow.
Once I dropped in and waited for tire installation:
Wait time : 1 hour
Update from reception : Your vehicle is ready .
Inspect: I see that all lug nuts are haphazardly placed for all wheels, one center cap missing and asks reception why wasn’t I informed of it and asked to take my car.
Response : technician walks in explains to me he broke the wheel caps in the process of removal ; and maybe whatever else was broken I only can get that verified once I get to my dealership and check them up. They told me to get the new cap from my dealership so they can fix it and refund the cost associated with it. So much for a free installation.
Plus: I had to request to know about the old tires that were removed which wasn’t even bagged up till then and placed in car assuming I didn’t want it anyways. Everything seemed off and for a newbie like me at the tire center had a tough time to understand. If you don’t question they would make it look like things went smooth and seamless as though there were never an issue.
So Much for trusting Costco and its values for all these years. I only want this fixed up at this point at no cost of mine. If not this will be escalated as needed. Customer care is at the lowest here they don’t give a damn about how the customer leaves the place as this is a free service.
As the saying goes nothing comes free in this world so is getting a new set of tires at Costco.

Incompetent mechanics. Brought my new car here for simple tire swap, but they could not manage to put back on the wheel covers. I went to the front desk and ask them why the covers are not installed. He lied to me and said it's best to leave them off until the next tire swap after winter. What actually happened was that the mechanic cracked one of the covers, and too inexperienced to put them back on. Usually, I go to my local car garages, and it's very easy for them to service this properly.
Also, when my car battery died in the parking lot here, I tried asking for a jump start. They told me they don't even have jumper cables!! It's a Costco Joke Centre

This Costco has a tire center and cafeteria but no gas station. It's a pretty standard Costco but it gets extremely busy on the weekend. I'd recommend to avoid on weekends. The food court has self service ordering.

This time I'm evaluating the food court. They would rather toss unsold food into the garbage instead of selling it to customers because it's closing time. What an absolute waste

It's as busy as a a Costco Warehouse can get! And it's well-maintained and clean. It also has a good variety of fresh vegetables, fruits, cheese, meat and frozen ones. But, I couldn't find many of the items I usually buy from other warehouses.

This location has the rudest staff! If you don't speak Mandarin, it's even worse for you. I have given it a few opportunities but after 2 years of going here, I stopped because the customer service is below par. Now I drive 15 minutes farther to enjoy my Costco shopping.

2023 update: dropping rating one more star down, from 4 to 3 and now to 2. While initially the online booking site helps with not having to call for hours and days to get an appointment, lately one can't get any spots for weeks ahead. After many days, evening and early morning I finally booked in early April for early May. Show up 15 minutes early is good advice but there is nowhere to park for much longer than that. With the garden centre it's even worse. Eventually you park, get in and there's a huge line. The fact that you booked at 3:30pm, arrived at 3pm to park, and made it to the tire centre by 3:25pm doesn't mean that anyone will see you until almost 4pm. Telling them that you had a 3:30pm appointment doesn't do anything as the only person there is selling tires and explaining for the 5th time that rims won't arrive at the warehouse while the tires will and Costco will ask you to pick up your tires from the warehouse I'd your rims are taking longer to arrive. Here comes the new surprise of 2023. Costco sold you tires and put them on your rims for one price last fall. While it used to put back the tires that came with your car back on your car in spring for that same price now greed has spoken. New policy uses bait and switch and when you come back in spring they'll charge you significantly more "as those tires weren't purchased from Costco". Well, that's logical as cars come with tires and pricing for changing tires Costco has been the same for 20-30 years, maybe more if you count Price Club. I'm seriously considering cancelling my membership as I no longer feel a member of a company that cares about me but as another level in their quest for higher profits.
