Well stocked, always busy. Size of the warehouse seems a bit smaller than other locations also making it seems even more busy.Parking lot is less hectic and better designed than other locations.Food section is too crowded and hectic. While Kathy always wishes us a nice day, she seems to have an excessive amount of feedback each time to every customer. Every customer always does SOMETHING wrong for which she always needs to order us correct i.e. people putting things on the bell that are apparently too heavy, we need to push the carts forward (when there are two more carts in front of us), person needs to mind their child, tells us to load our own cart while we haven’t even paid yet (which we were planning to anyway as there wasn’t a second person working with her) while we have a baby with us

Good selection for merchandiseNot sure about managementThere are hints of racial profiling at this locationIf you are someone of a certain race or color, the staff will follow you around while you are innocently shopping.Be carefulStay safe

A Costco in Markham. Has all of the same areas that any other Costco has. The same amount of business as in the other locations of this size. At the time of day that we went, there was a small selection of food samples to try. Lots of new food products and discounts on them.Appliances, technology, household goods, food etc. As always, the food samples are good.

Its always a pleasure shopping at Costco....they have a wide variety of food stuff, clothes, kitchen ware etc. The store is clean....there's hand sanitizer available at every other aisle. The shelves were well stocked but most sale items were almost sold out.The cashier's are very friendly & helpful,A good shopping experience here

Most Costco's are pretty standardized and all are very handy for their purpose. On our quick drop-in here for reason unstated, I noticed three things compared to the Costco's we frequent around Chicagoland. 1) They don't sell gas, as gas pricing is fixed across Canada by the government and there is no advantage to Costco.2) Based on this one data point, the checkout area seemed a lot more open than what I'm used to seeing. Maybe weekend traffic is even heavier up here IDK. 3) They sell Costco fries (and of course poutine)!! The End.

Located on the east side of Markham, near other big box stores - Home Depot and Canadian Tire. Perhaps slightly less busier than other Costcos and easier to find parking. But still very busy on weekends. This location has departments for optical, tires and pharmacy. They also have fast food. Some products catered to Asians due to the location. They have some self checkouts.

I would say 8 out of 10 times that I come to this Costco, there are no cart will be ready inside. I usually need to run all the way back to outside to grab my own. It doesn’t matter what period I have arrived, I tried afternoon, evening, weekdays or weekends. I am wondering where are the staffs going and what are they doing outside with their phone on their hands?? It never happened with other Costco that I went to, but only this particular store. I just saw two staffs, they were talking and chit chat outside nearby the carts for over 10 minutes…… now I understand why this poor service can be happened. ??????

I give costco a 1 star reveiw because I found pieces of glass in my Tandoor Baked Rivaj Naan. When we were eating the naan a piece of glass was bitten and it was risky for our life.

Been a while since visiting the Kirkham Costco in Markham. Nice to see the differences between the different locations. Front entrance has a great layout. At the back where the paper towels are was very congested due to the placement of all the goods in the aisle.Purchased chocolate chip muffins but returned them less than 30 minutes after purchase as they were very dry and something tasted off.

I went to the Costco in Markham for a change and found it quite busy on a midday Friday. Parking was a bit of a challenge, requiring us to circle the lot once. Inside, we noticed a few items that weren't available at our usual Durham location, such as Keto tortillas, Ocean's crab meat, and Kinders Woodfire garlic seasoning. It was amusing to see Halloween and Christmas items already on display in mid-September.However, there were a couple of downsides. I spotted several unattended spills on the floor, which seemed like a safety hazard with people walking over them. The biggest disappointment was the muffins we purchased; they turned out to be dry and tasted old. We had to return to the store to sort it out, which was a hassle.

It is kind of good place sometimes it gets really busy during line up and I wish they was faster line options like how Canada wonderland had like the fast option available and Costco you should doing something like that that why I give it a 4 star’s overall the company is good but needs to improve the line up to be much faster then people can go there work on time

Costco is amazing anyway but I absolutely love their Vanilla soft serve. It is the best tasting Vanilla soft serve out there. Really dense, creamy and huge size for the price. Literally two people can eat from this. Love it!

I had an awesome experience with one staff member in particular, Maria.I live in Oshawa and was looking for a carpet that is out of stock in Durham Region. I called the store, Maria was courteous, professional and extremely helpful. She located the carpet for me and held it for a day until I could get there. She has restored my faith in outstanding customer service! Thanks Maria!

Who doesn't love Costco deals, food and samples? I frequent this location and they definitely have a great selection of items that are sold. Things get sold out quickly here, especially when there's a sale on certain items going on. So definitely have the "buy now, think later" mentality when shopping here. Items are usually such a great price and super affordable. Groceries here are fresh, come in larger than usual portions but great for larger families or meal prepping. Some go to items are their rotisserie chicken, chicken thighs, salmon, green beans, toilet paper and garbage bags. You can't leave any Costco without getting some food, especially their $1.50 hotdog combo! Food is usually good for food court style and again, very affordable. Get their poutine, chicken strips and hot dog - delicious!

The parking lot is a disaster....for whatever reason, the clientele that shop at this location think it is okay to leave carts all over the parking lot. Carts are left in aisles, hanging on curbs, in parking spots. They need to do some targeted educating at this location. People are plain lazy and leave garbage in their carts, expecting an employee to clean up after them. I blame Costco....but only because I think they need to address the situation with their customers. They know who buys there, they should all be sent an email or perhaps a letter when they walk into the place. As well, I think all Costcos, Walmarts and Grocery Stores should encourage their customers to bring a cart in them from the parking lot. Seems pretty simple to me.
