I had a great experience with this Costco. I lost my purse on my way to the parking. I didn't notice it until my doorbell rang at 11pm. Two Costco employees delivered my loss purse to me!!!I can't say thank you enough!

Dear Costco Customer Service Team,I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with an unfortunate experience I encountered at your store, specifically with a sampling staff member in the refrigerated foods section.On Nov 20, 2:10pm, I was shopping at your Markham(1 Yorktech Dr) store. While passing by the toast and meat samples near the milk and refrigerated foods section, I approached to try a sample, as they appeared ready for tasting. However, the staff member managing the samples reacted extremely rudely to my approach. She told me that it was "her kitchen" and questioned if I would like someone taking things from my kitchen without permission.I was taken aback by her tone and manner. As a customer, I was unaware that the samples were not ready for consumption. A simple explanation stating that the samples were still being prepared would have sufficed. Instead, her approach was confrontational and unwelcoming, which not only embarrassed me but also created an uncomfortable atmosphere.The display of the toast and meat samples on paper trays gave the impression that they were ready to be sampled. Her claim that this was "her kitchen" was not only inappropriate but also startling.I believe that customer service should be a priority, and the behavior of this staff member was not reflective of the high standards I usually associate with Costco. I hope this incident will be addressed appropriately to prevent future occurrences of such unpleasant experiences for other customers.I appreciate your attention to this matter and look forward to a response regarding the actions taken in response to this complaint.Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.Sincerely,

More pharmacy issue (or incompetence). Was told that they didn't receive a prescription from the doctor's office. Funny though. That prescription and another was dropped off on the same day in July. So it appeared that their pharmacy technician only entered one prescription and forgot the other. The staff had the audacity to tell us to verify with their staff each time to ensure that it's entered properly. It's not the customer's job or in their capacity to verify that Costco pharmacy staff entered the data accurately into Costco's internal system. The staff had a hard time confirming that they made a mistake, but always want to shift the blame onto another party (doctor's office or the patient themselves)

Costco is a real shopper's paradise! From bulk savings to top-notch customer service, this store exceeds expectations. The vast variety of products, including quality Kirkland Signature items, coupled with their unbeatable membership perks, make Costco a five-star shopping destination for me and others.

It's as busy as a a Costco Warehouse can get! And it's well-maintained and clean. It also has a good variety of fresh vegetables, fruits, cheese, meat and frozen ones. But, I couldn't find many of the items I usually buy from other warehouses.

This location has the rudest staff! If you don't speak Mandarin, it's even worse for you. I have given it a few opportunities but after 2 years of going here, I stopped because the customer service is below par. Now I drive 15 minutes farther to enjoy my Costco shopping.

I like this location, it’s got a good selection of fresh fruits and vegetables. A decent variety of children’s toys, books, and craft kits (depending on the season). My favorite part of this location is the floral department. I love how well Sukh maintains the bouquets and other flowers, you can tell she takes pride in what she does ☺️ I notice a huge difference between the bouquets in this location vs other Costco location. The bouquets always look amazing and fresh! I got a gorgeous fall bouquet on September 21st and almost two weeks later they are still thriving and looking beautiful ?

Worst experience at the exit. I have been a regular client here for 8 years. Yesterday around 7pm I went shopping and found there's no shopping cart at the door, so I decided to go to the washroom and eat something before I grab a cart. The lady at exit asked to check my small backpack when i exited. even I had my half full pop in hand and my backpack is almost flattened. She claimed that they have the right to check your bag by pointing to sign. yes, you might have the right but you definitely didn't check the blond lady's big bag at exit when I lined up after my shopping.

Very very disappointed on the quality of the Canadian customers!I strongly believed that it is a common sense for the customers should queue for food tasting, but I saw no customers followed and many customers took many food tasting one time, they don't care for the other customers are queuing for the food tasting. Honestly speaking, I cannot believe that this circumstance had happened in a well-developed country "Canada Costco store"! I do hope that the Management team of the Costco can take some measures to improve this bad situation.

Parking lot was crazy busy and the store was so packed that there was even a line up going all the way outside to enter the store. I've never seen this before since Covid lockdown. Most stuff were organized and in place inside the store, but due to the high volume of crowd, things can get messy and all over the place. It was very difficult to push the cart around (especially with a child in tow) through the crowds and the line up to pay were all very line. Most staff were friendly and helpful (especially when I was looking for an available shopping cart to use), but I did find some to be very rude and unpleasant. There can definitely be some improvements made to this store location to avoid such chaos when there's a high volume of customers especially on a weeknight for a Tuesday evening!

WORST location in the gta! Parking lot is ridiculous. The food samples only consist of cheap nuts and crackers. Customers have zero consideration for others, standing in the middle of walkways on their phone, impossible to traverse anywhere in the store! Somehow always overcrowded, a trampling is bound to occur soon! The food court is an abomination, all they have left is dried out pizza slices and chicken fingers, ALL the other items such as wings have disappeared!!! Disgraceful!!!

Excellent products. Great prices.The checkout experience today only at this location was worst experience of the last 23 years our family has had at any Costco's. So much so that we cancelled the membership after spending over $400.I had a big function planned and was incredibly excited about the process until we reached the checkout counter and experienced what can only be described as militant aggression by Pam E and her manager David. She refused to produce separate bills even though I had kindly requested it for my accounting purposes. I suggested that we can separate our bills by going to a different cashier if she deemed it too inconvenient for her personal preference and she proceeded to DRAMATICALLY call the manager, David, who I can only assume enables this behaviour, as he stood there sternly nodding along to ensure our shopping experience was as uncomfortable and inconvenient as possible.It was a little like a comedy bit. Like we were going through security clearance before entering a jail cell. Very odd. I often have such lovely experiences when shopping and dining outside that it completely baffled us when they treated PAYING CUSTOMERS that ultimately supply the capital behind retail shopping. As if online shopping isn't a competition for high rent, high labour cost of retail shopping, and the only benefit being an enjoyable experience which clearly was not the focus for these two at this location.Some people should not be allowed to interact with the public unless they go through some training; so much for diversity training and checking out biases ( be it race or class or whatever motivated). Human beings with simple requests should be met with more compassion and kindness. Even if money wasn't the driving factor.I would much rather pay the extra few dollars to purchase the same things at Loblaws or whatever. not worth being treated with such condescension. Didn't think our fun event planning would end up so terribly because of one bitter person policing other people's accounting needs. Will refer friends and family to the Leslie/Elgin mills location instead. Have never had this issue anywhere else (in the world really lol).Wild.

Good store, good selection of items, cheap food in the food court, good pizza, ok french fries, meh Brisk Iced Tea.
