If I can give zero stars I will. Terrible customer service. About 7 days ago I ordered a Smart Oven in this location with their Sales Representative, paid for it and was told it will be shipped to my address as item was not available in that store. When I came home that day an email was sent to me that the item was shipped, however I noticed that the Sales Rep has used the wrong postal code on the shipping address. Until today I have not received the item and not sure what will happen to this shipment. They use Canada Post to ship items to customers and of course the postal code is very important otherwise the item could be delayed or delivered to the wrong address big time. I contacted the Bay Customer Care asking for a refund as this was not my mistake but they refused to refund me.
This is a horrible and needless to say a very stressful experience especially from such a reputable company like Hudson Bay. All this was caused by a careless Sales Rep. I'm a very dissatisfied and disappointed customer.

I am surprised sometimes to see that Hudson's Bay is still in business. Yes their quality is very good. They do sell most Major brands. Yes their prices are in the higher side. Yes sometimes its difficult to find service. But when they have sales its worth a visit. This location had surprising good sales and we had no problems finding someone to help.

While shopping in the Polo Ralph Lauren section, I asked a question to a brown short male with a noticeable belly. I believe his name is Anthony. The situation became uncomfortable when he gave me a flirtatious look, which really freaked me out.

Served in housewares by a lady named Marie. It was Saturday July 27 around 11:30 am. She was so knowledgeable, helpful and very very courteous. She knew her stuff and where everything was that I needed. She was so helpful, I wish all staff were like her.

I was visiting friends in Markham and the Hudson's Bay store at CF Markville was closed during my entire stay. I was finally able to speak to an employee at Cadillac Fairview and they told me that this location was closed due to a broken air conditioning unit (lack of A/C in The Bay store). According to the CF employee, many Hudson's Bay stores were closed in Ontario and Quebec during the heat wave between the 18th and 20th of June 2024, due to the absence of air conditioning. For example, The Bay store in St-Bruno, Quebec (also located in a Cadillac Fairview owned mall: CF St-Bruno) was closed due to a broken A/C unit...It is sad to see that the American hedge fund managers of the HBC group (yes, The Bay is owned by an American company) is more interested in maximizing their real-estate portfolio rather than investing in the retail aspect of Hudson's Bay...this is truly the beginning of the end of this once iconic brand. Sad.

The bay Markville doesn’t deserve even a 0 score. The service is horrible. They make mistakes and all they can say is I’m sorry. The manager Kevin gives terribly service so does the assistant manager ms. Dumitha. They don’t pick the telephone , no Matter which department you call and the operator is never there. With service like this one day they will not exist. Also there prices are very expensive.
