Can never leave this place without buying something ! Every time I come here the stocks are different and I often find some hidden gems, pricing is very affordable and the owner (canto lady) is always welcoming and helpful. Not to mention the membership discount and buy 10 get 1 free deals.

Was a better store but now looks like a misc department / warehouse style store.Located at basement level where indoor parkings are.Still selling items $3 each ( $2.98 with very small .98 written next to it). Some items can be found at dollarama and Dollartree. But mostly small goods from east.

I TRULY DISLIKE THIS PLACE. I'd come here all the time and today when I came, I was minding my own business with me shopping for some things. I was deciding what I wanted, as I was putting one of the things back one of the employee assumed I was STEALING. ( not in the original place because I forgot where I found it ) I AS WELL SHOWN WHERE I PUT THE THING SINCE I didn't WANT IT. As I still shopped, the employee was staring at me and following me as i shopped for the WHOLE TIME. This attitude is unacceptable.

has a lot of cute and useful things! but they basically only take cash, the debit machine they have never works (both me and my partner got declined every single time we’ve tried it there, our debit cards work everywhere else) and ngl i think the machine is either very very outdated or is fake ☠️

Hidden gem in the bowels of Pmall. Often find the same Japanese things here that are cheaper than at oomomo. Go here before going to oomomo.

Be warned! This is no longer a TWO dollar store. There is no notice that everything in thestore is no longer Two dollars until you reach the cash register and they say it’s $2.89 plus tax = $3.26 for each item you filled your entire shopping cart with. They put a small sticker that says .89 cents that you can’t even SEE.Plus most items in the store are not made in Japan. It’s labelled in Japanese, but made in China

Last resort if I cannot find the items I'm looking for at The Best Shop located upstairs or at Dollarama. Last time I visited, I bought a small coloring book but found a larger one with more pages at Dollarama for 2-3 dollars cheaper. I agree with one of the review regarding items not labelled in English do sometimes you have to guess or skip the urge to buy. Item quality can be good or bad. They have tons of items displayed near the cashier (they don't put up a sign to direct you to the proper area where the line up starts) so it's tricky knowing where to line up especially when they didn't have the social distancing marks before despite last year's start of the pandemic. It's noticeable how they did the markings as if your traversing a maze to avoid bumping on the displays.Staff is a hit or miss. Pre pandemic and last year, we dealt with an accommodating, upbeat, and friendly sales person and cashier. My recent visit was manned by a lady cashier (which is in one of the photos) who seems to be in a bad mood (no smile, no thank you, no ounce of friendly customer service demeanor) and only got friendly with a guy who chatted with her in Mandarin/Cantonese. ??? Not sure if she's just naturally discriminating or just yearning for a male's attention.
