This place worth a visit but keep in mind that the prices in here are insanely expensive! And I’m not talking about 2 times the regular prices. It’s like almost 10 times the prices compared to Japan. I get it, importation fee, continence and bla bla bla, but why comparing to prices you find here is also insanely expensive? For me, it’s nit even you are paying for something unique, hand made, all of these comes from a “Hiyakuen” store, which is dollar store in Japan. They pay a dollar there and how that becomes $20? A pair of simple chopsticks, not even fancy ones all coloured and hand painted stuff, I’m talking regular brown not even polished ones. In Japan those cost $1 to $2, in downtown you can find for $5 to $6 and here it cost you $20! That’s insane! A Japanese imported rice cooker, fancy one, I got from Amazon for $450 and her it’s $850! Same one! So I would say you can find anything, from a Japanese dollar store, but for a really high cost! I’m not saying it doesn’t worth a visit, it does worth it! Perhaps to buy a pair of chopsticks each time because even bentos are very expensive!

Finally found a genuine Japanese town. Although it is small and has few options, still a nice place to find real Japanese stuff.

Not a big place, but has almost everything. Bought some desserts from the bakery shop, a little disappointed, too pricey and tasted just ok. Still it’s worth going to J town if you are looking for goods from Japan.

I've been here a couple of times. It's an okay place to have lunch or a snack. If you are looking for some good Japanese food, I would suggest trying this area. I would visit again

Only authentic Japanese market in north of Toronto. Sanko in downtown has better choices.

J-Town is the place to grab your Japanese groceries! There’s a meat section, a dedicated bakery and dessert section, household goods, seafood, sushi and more. There’s also a grocery store in the building across!

It's an area where you can enjoy Japanese food and cuisine, but it's difficult to access, and the buildings selling raw meat and bread seem to be run by Chinese people, so the prices are quite high.
