This place is horrible for returns/exchange of items. I bought a sweater and wanting to exchange it for a smaller size but the manager won’t even consider because she said the sweater had a ‘smell’ The sweater was bought 4 days before the day I intended to exhange it. It was not even taken out of the paper bag. She saw that the tape they put on the bag was still there, and the bag was sealed. Its crazy how they still let these stores have these policies. Its 2024 and we shouldn’t be dealing with issues as such. The staff were not kind at all, not willing to help. Wrong attitudes no? For a retail service? Never buying from this store again.

As a global Japanese brand, we have been using many Muji products and the quality and design are impeccable. It's good, beautiful and the price is relatively reasonable. All of the products here are quite similar to MUJI products that we have had the opportunity to purchase in other countries. It's really good quality.

Maybe a bit expensive at the first glance. But most items are beautiful, really good quality and some even unique, which makes the price worthy.Worth checking it out if you're around and like Japanese style.

This store is located in Central shopping mall for Markham city. All Japanese product, I guess, its a career ambassador Japanese store.There are some nice quality cotton fabric clothing, you will adore it. But the price is a bit in higher side. But hey, you have to pay for quality ptoduct, isn't it?One casual cotton full sleeve shirt that you can buy from Canadian brand Joe Fresh by 29.99, same shirt I found out 49.99 at Muji and another Japanese brand store Uniqlo,( started with Unique and Low, Uniclo. I was with them from its birth in Japan at 2004.). So. its pricier.

By now, I think most of us know muji, so not much to say there. I would like to compliment their customer service. I got assisted by Youssef and Debbie, they were very helpful and called around for me looking for the items that I was looking for.The best customer service at a clothing store that I ever encountered

They sell tea powder near the cashier, which tastes really good and and helps me stay awake in the afternoon. I credit this tea with helping me understand tunnel diodes lasers by helping me not fall asleep while doing so.

This Muji is smartly located across the hall from Uniqlo. While Muji has a lot of housewares and organizational items as well, they do carry clothing! Both brands are Japanese so they have similar styles. We had just made a few purchases at Uniqlo when we wandered across here. The cut and shape of some of the shirts were almost exactly the same but I found the material of the shirts to be noticeably softer at Muji and at a better price point! I also noticed that the country of origin for these shirts was Vietnam so everything was comparable as well. Make sure you drop into Muji if you're debating on stuff from Uniqlo - they might have the same thing a bit cheaper!

Purchased a sweater that was the incorrect size. Return to the store to exchange. We were informed that the price of this sweater has decreased by the sweet saleswoman. She gave me the difference back. It's incredibly sincere of them.

So I never shopped in this store, my mother in law just got me a few items from here and I was forced to go into this store to return the items. Design is horrible and the size was wrong. I was informed that I can't get refunds which was OK on a gift item so I asked for a gift card that would hold the money till maybe later on in the year when I want to walk in with my wife to buy something. I was surprised and disappointed when the lady at the cash was like "we don't do gift cards balance. You have to exchange for other items on the spot." I explained how this stuff is me and my wife and I'd like to come back later to shop with her. The lady while polite stated that is not the policy of the store. I have to hold on to the oversize gifts I got and come back before Jan 31 to buy something else. HOW IS THIS A STORE POLICY IN 2023? I feel like we are back to the 90s where customer service was no a thing. Now I'm forced to buy something even if I don't like what they have to offer between now till Jan 31. NEVER AGAIN MUJI.

We want to commend on the excellent customer service by Vellicia at MUJI-Yorkdale Mall. Originally intended to buy only from UNIQLO, but Vellicia outstanding service & patience convinced us to buy "couple matching" outfits , ALL at your store. GREAT JOB!!!

I was on the hunt for glass carafes with lids and found them here! The carafes were beautiful, but when I arrived home (after storing them carefully in my trunk, in a basket wedged with towels), one of the carafes had a nick on the opening.I was able to return the damaged carafe with minimum hassle, but decided not to keep the other two. They seem to be very fragile. It would be great if they wrapped items with several layers; instead of loosely wrapped once.They have some unique houseware, stationery, and clothing items, but on the pricy side.

I was on the hunt for glass carafes with lids and found them here! The sales person put several on hold, and told me the store opens at 9:00 am. I thought, wow, they're open early! Imagine my surprise when I showed up at 9:05 am, the mall was literally empty, and the store was closed! I grabbed a coffee and caught up on Yelp for one hour! The carafes were beautiful, but when I arrived home (after storing them carefully in my trunk, in a basket wedged with towels), one of the carafes had a nick on the opening. I was able to return the damaged carafe with minimum hassle, but decided not to keep the other two. They seem to be very fragile. Since the items were pre-wrapped and placed in a bag, I would suggest you check your items before leaving the store (I normally do!) It would be great if they wrapped items with several layers; instead of loosely wrapped once. They have some unique houseware, stationery, and clothing items, but on the pricy side.
