Clean and uncluttered aisles. Product can be found exactly where the website stated it would be. Staff was friendly, easy to locate and know their products. Products are priced fairly and in good quantities. Only blemish is the washroom. It had the unmistakable stink.

I came in to buy soil. Online it said they had 29 bags. Purchased some but couldn't find it. Had to return and get alternate bags.. Amarita was the sales person who was helped. she was very pleasant and amazing!

My sweetie loves caring for her indoor plants. In winter when daylight & sunlight is diminished, she was looking for a LED lamp to encourage growth artificially. Gotta get them rays somehow! No can do. Only LED bulbs available and regular lamps that use LED bulbs but no plant lamp. The search continues...

Brutal call them on hold die 25m then it rings 30-40 times goes back onto hold. Than after they answer they disconnect the call!?! Meanwhile they have $500 of my money and have not confirmed pick up !?! They could never answer there phone at the best of times. Overpaid staff that do NOTHING HERE. -10000 stars. 3rd world

Not a single employee was helpful. No one would actually take the time to come and actually walk us to an aisle and show us where the item we were looking for would be. Every time one of the employees directed us to an aisle it was the wrong one. When we were finally in the right aisle we asked another employee where the exact item would be located and he did not look pleased and just pointed behind him. We are not handymen so we were just trying to follow the google pics of the item to find it. From what would've been 5 minutes shopping to grab the item and go turned into a 30 minute one. Going through each aisle after being frustrated with the employees giving us false directions. Even when we went to cash out at the self check-out station the woman that was supposed to make sure everything is going okay had left her spot and went to talk to another co worker about other things non-related to work. I was standing there in front of her waiting for her to finish and she ignored me. I will not go back to this location anymore.

We had come looking for a certain flooring material. When we didn't see enough on the shelves the associates, notice that was plural, looked up which other store location would have some available.

My go to place for everything I need to keep the home in good repair. Always someone able to help you find what you need. The staff are knowledgeable and professional. We use their delayed payment feature for big purchases where you don't pay for 18 months. We have also used their in store installation service when having new doors installed. They came to our house with samples before hand and the work was done expertly. I would go here again and again!

I went to two Home Depots in one day to shop for a light fixture. The one that I went to on the west side did not have selections that suited what I was looking for. Then I went to this Home Depot and interestingly enough, the light fixtures are different depending on store location. I guess because the west side and east side of the GTA has such a diverse demographic that it calls for the stores to carry different light fixtures to fit these unique tastes. Perhaps because this Home Depot is on my area, which is why I found the perfect light fixture for my room! Unfortunately, when I had some questions about it, I found it difficult to locate a sale associate and when I finally did, this associate was sort of reluctant to help. Kind of a bummer! Regardless, finding the perfect light fixture is hard to come by so even with this associates's poor customer service skills, I still wanted to get it. I went for the self check-out area and the lady that assisted the check-out process was super friendly. I suppose she makes up for her associate's lack of enthusiasm. Overall, my takeaway from this whole shopping experience is this: if you first don't succeed in finding what you're looking for at a Home Depot, try and try another one.

This is my go-to Home Depot for all things home-like. Haha. I find that the layout and size of this one is basically the same as all the others. I generally always take a look at their plants section, as I find they are quite good in terms of price and quality. Tropical plants are like $3!!! They lack in the succulent department, but when they open their gardening centre, you'll be amazed at all the extra room and products that is opened up. Staff at this location is very helpful. Sometimes it takes a while for them to call different associates to certain places, but for the most part, my needs are taken care of and they like to help. Tip: They do price matching and will beat the price, and for plants I believe they have a 1 year warranty. 4/5. Good on ya' Home Depot.

I had a lady come to the house to help me with kitchen blinds. According to her card she is supposed to be a designer. Her name is Jamie Kwan. She came in and altho I did tell the girl at the home depot what I wanted, I needed to see some samples and her samples consisted of about 5 pieces of slats on a chain. No Books or other samples. Well she came in and was quite arrogant. My contractor was here finishing up and was talking to her and she was so rude to him. She was literally no help at ll and as a result. I ordered the blinds elsewhere and there was a totally different approach. I did call home depot and spoke to the mangers re this woman and she said she would look after it. As much as I love the home depot and assured the manager, I would still shop there, I will not use or recommend this woman to anyone.

Compare to Richmond Hill HD, this Hwy 7 store across from 1st Markham Place is so terrible especially at customer service counter. On many instances, I notice staff does not enough training to work their computer system. Anything other than a simple return, some of them can't handle it. They are not customer focused, they are more employee focused. When one of their own people walked into customer service, they would start chit chat, joking. Some of them pretend they don't see you and walk away. LG is having appliance promotion from Aug 11-31, 2016. Buy 2 LG get $100 off, buy 3 LG get $300 off. But the guys in appliance section and appliance manager were not aware of this. Staff from Richmond store told me and I saw this promotion on paper, and yet Hwy 7 store staff said they never heard about it.

This is your local Home Depot for those who live west of McCowan. It's located across from First Markham Place, and let's be honest...it barely has half the passenger traffic there. I found the service in this store to be very good. I was looking for a shower hose, and managed to find someone and he not only directed me to the section, but explained which sizes are available and the reason for the cost differentials. Considering some of the other major stores I go to, I was quite impressed with the knowledge of this employee. The self-checkout counter was a neat addition and the instructions were simple. Mind you I didn't go during peak time, but the whole process from entering the store to exiting only in 5 minutes. Solid 3 stars for the fact service is good, but nothing really stood out.
