My favorite store going down the hill. I visited last night and start seeing the Indian invasion. They don't know anything about any product, the make group conversations in the middle of the isles, 3 times I am trying to go through the isles and 3 or more workers are blocking the path, just talking about their day to day life. The store not as organized as it used to be. I'm an inmigrant myself, but as soon as I landed in Canada I wanted to learn their kindness, politeness, their profesionalism. These new people just want to destroy everything good my beautiful canadians have built , including, my beloved Princess Auto.

I recently visited the hydraulic counter at Princess Auto on 8500 Woodbine Ave in Markham to return a faulty flat-face quick connect that wasn’t latching properly. The staff member I encountered was dismissive and unhelpful, insisting the issue was due to dirt getting into the fitting. Given that it’s a flat-face quick connect, this explanation didn’t make sense. Despite his claims of “35 years as a mechanic,” he refused to consider the possibility of a defect, making the experience unnecessarily frustrating.
Fortunately, a helpful employee at customer service handled the exchange promptly, maintaining the level of excellent service I’ve come to expect from Princess Auto. As a loyal customer, I was disappointed by this encounter and hope the hydraulic counter team receives further training to ensure more respectful and knowledgeable support.

Stopped by to look for something. Quite a challenge to find a store associate. As I was heading towards the cashiers to seek help, came across to Caucasian clerks (roughly in the 50s). Almost looked like they were possibly coming from break. If that was the case, they could have just said that which I would understand and directed me to either the cashiers or customer service counter. Instead, the guy slowed down simply because I was in his path and abruptly and rudely said NO and continued his way. I did end up asking the gents at the cashier which were very responsive and helpful. I was just so disgusted by the 3 secs interaction that I had to write this review and hope someone higher up will see this and take action as there is no place for staff members like this.

imbecilic. i got the confirmation email that my order was ready to pick up. get to the store, the people there are clueless and told me my order wasnt ready. rude and of no help otherwise. i had to go find my items and buy them off the shelf.

Do not order online for pick up at the Woodbine location in Markham. I’m still waiting 9 hours later and the order is not even in progress, and it’s only for two items! I went to the store and got the two items I ordered off the shelf. I ordered because there was limited quantity.
One person at the cash on a Saturday and nobody in customer service. Don’t waste your time at that store.

Reasonable price ， Plenty parking at the plaza. Bright and clean store. friendly & polite cashier & staff, huge selection. Will recommend to friends & family!

After sale is suck, brought a walk behind lawn trimmer this summer try to get some tune up parts before winter, the staff asked me to take the parts out and bring it to the store and match it, I call customer service the first guy I talk to ask me the phone number & said he got no record I purchased, wait 5 minutes call again talk to another guy I don’t even have to give him the phone number & he can see my receipt. What a joke.

This location is one of my favorites. Always will stocked up. For example, this is the only location I was able to find the right size square u-bolts. Sounds trivial until you need them and can't find them anywhere.

Very handy location. EDIT: they need to train some of their front-end staff in basic common courtesy. Not expected to be treated like this in 2021.
Edit: 20 people in line. 2 cashiers......so dumb

Excellent Canadian chain of tools, auto and trailer parts, camping equipment, and more. Great prices, good staff very clean my only issue is their house brand are all made in China so not supporting enough north American companies.

Not a great experience with the staff. Lazy and given dishonest information about location of stock and wouldn’t bring it to the front. Online inventory was more helpful than the staff who just wasted my time and had me make several trips and phone calls.
