Worst experience I’ve had at a bank I had a appointment at 3:30 got there exactly 3:30 had to ask an employee about my appointment she told me to sit she will contact the advisor I was sitting there for more the half hour had to asked someone else for help so then after the advisor finally came out and said she thought I wasn’t coming anymore so then I told her I’ve been here waiting etc not even a I’m sorry about that all she said was how can I help you i had to just walk out i don’t recommend the place to anyone

Always understaffed. Be prepared to wait an hour for every visit. Been going here for 2 years and it's always been horrible!

I would like to give this branch a zero. As a new business account holder their staff treat people like criminals and have no respect or customer service. Wait times are abysmal. Train your staff to do better. Horrible representation of this bank. I now travel further to avoid dealing with anyone here.

I normally don’t write long and negative reviews, but I can’t keep my anger today and want people to be aware of this branch.I would give -100 if I could. I went in today wanting to verify a fraudulent mobile cheque and I understand that no personal information can be given, especially I’m not a RBC customer. But I just need some help to see if that’s fake cheque. The lady who I had (Indrani) was beyond rude, full of attitude, totally unprofessional. She told me the account is good, and nothing else she can say. I said I understand, I don’t want to know any personal information, I just want some pointers on how I can verify whether this is a good cheque or not. Did not even let me finish my sentence, cut me off anything I say. I can’t even carry on a normal conversation, so I asked for her manager, she told me “WHO ARE YOU TO ASK FOR A MANAGER IMMEDIATELY, YOU ARE NOT OUR CUSTOMER”. Then another customer (a nice lady) came into my defence saying I just want some help because I might be scammed, and the brand rep (Indrani) continues to rude to her, their own customer, kept cut her off, and eventually telling her to leave now and she will deal with me. She told me to sit down and wait for a manager. So I did, but meanwhile she did nothing, I waited and waited. Finally decided to go to the back and ask for a manager, and I was told the manager was not in today (wow). So at the end I was helped by another employee and told me straight up that the mobile cheque I had is 100% fake. So had I listened to Indrani, I would have lost a lot of money and my own account could have been blocked by my own bank!Guess because I’m not their customer, it is OK for me to receive such customer service, all these years dealing with multiple different banks, I have never gotten this rude, poor service. RBC just cut off all potential future business with me, never RBC again because of this lady.

Clearly The manager and the crew lacks respect to customers and forget the fact that we do of course pay for their service.Some male staffs have rowdy attitude people who come asking for help.Very poor respect towards senior citizensVery poor service and rude behaviours and the customers are told to get out

Opened new account there and the staff was super helpful. We went in despite of not having an appointment and the service we received was remarkable. Mr Ryan Lau was extremely helpful and all our paper work for the account opening was done in 30 mins. We were even offered a double double (coffee)

I have been standing in line for the past 20 minutes. They need more people attending to customers-especially around the lunch hour. There are more staff milling around and looking busy rather than attending to customers. It’s a complete disgrace to the RBC brand. I expect a lot more from RBC.

I wish I could have given them a 0 star. I opened a business account with them last year and they issued me a credit card with that as well. First, the credit card arrived so late and now whenever I try to use the credit card , it gives me the message of your bank doesn’t allow you to complete the transaction. I told them when I was opening an account that I will using this cc for online transactions. I have made a worst mistake of my life by opening an account with their bank. I’m planning to take my business somewhere else ! Pathetic !

One of the useless bank, (not the branch). Third class process. If you go the branch and ask for something they will book the meeting, then you have to at scheduled time then they will schedule next meeting to bring documents. They just just want to take ur money. They will trap you by downgrading ur credit score, even if all ur payments are on auto payments. Its not possible to go there and ask for TFSA, RRSP account in one short, they will ask you to revisit multiple time.They send me 9 documents to fill by my self to open a Direct investing account.Cross the road there is TD just go there and they will complete all the formalities. Or CIBC atleast they have better service then RBC.Neverever recommended ?????

RBC has to really up their game.They converted the Box Grove branch to a "meeting place" (i.e: no teller service), and to get some assistance you need to go to Markham and 14th or Markham and 16th locations.When you get to those locations there's only 2 tellers handling all clients (had to wait more than 40 min) to get a simple money transfer done.If I you're looking for bank, please don't use RBC. Poor service, and high overcharges.
