Very disappointing experience at this Shell location. I visited on January 13, 2026, around 5:05 PM, and the cashier was extremely rude when I politely asked to use the washroom. Instead of responding professionally, he questioned me and told me I should not be using the washroom there.
This attitude is unacceptable. People may have medical reasons, personal health issues, or even difficulty controlling the need to use the washroom due to cold weather. This is not something anyone can simply control. Denying access and speaking rudely shows a complete lack of basic human understanding and customer service.
What makes this worse is that many other reviews mention the same washroom-related problem, which clearly shows this is not a one-time issue. Management needs to take responsibility and correct this behavior immediately.

Zero customer service. Last night there was and old guy who is super rude and know nothing about customer service which how it works. Never visit again this gas station. It is was disrespectful and disappointing.

Tonight I went to this gas station and saw and old man working. Saying hi to him but no answer. Throughout the process, he was so rude and impolite. Don’t know why he has to work there. Never go again. Super ride! Zero customer service!

I am 4 months pregnant and just had one of the most distressing and unacceptable experiences at this Shell gas station, all because of an employee named Shon.
I went to use the washroom and noticed it was clearly empty. I knocked multiple times and waited—no answer. I then politely approached Shon and explained that I was pregnant and urgently needed the washroom key. Instead of helping, he rudely dismissed me, saying “I think someone is in there.” I told him I had checked thoroughly and no one was responding. Still, he told me to wait 10 minutes. After 15 minutes passed, he told me to wait another 5 minutes. There was still no one inside the washroom.
Then, completely inappropriately, Shon walked directly behind me—which made me extremely uncomfortable, especially as a pregnant woman. I even pointed out that he could have approached from the other direction, but he ignored my concern. His entire attitude was cold, rude, and deeply disrespectful.
This man showed zero empathy, zero professionalism, and acted in a way that was both disturbing and unacceptable. My body was shaking from the stress of this encounter. I ended up having to leave and find another store just to use the washroom while in serious discomfort.
To the owner of this Shell station: if you do not take immediate action regarding Shon’s behavior, you are enabling a hostile and unsafe environment for women—especially vulnerable customers like pregnant women. If this issue is ignored, I will not hesitate to escalate it further.

Thursday around 4:00 pm
Came in to get gas. After activating my Shell Go+ & chose the V-Power 91, the pump was doing trickles in filling my gas tank. It was windy & cold I could see the female attendant was just watching from the inside counter through the glass window. After about a minute, I used the intercom to ask what's going on. Only at that time she informed that the station was out of V-Power 91 & 93.
There were no signs or indicators on the pump stations for the customers to understand the situation. Highly disappointed & wasted my time.

The worker there was super hard to communicate to and he was super disrespectful and didn't care about the concerns I had for whay fuel I needed and how I had to pay etc...

Why does this location close at 11pm? All the other Shell stations in the city that I have been to so far and even in Markham are open 24 hours.
I was at the pump at 10:59pm several weeks ago and was in the process of doing the prepaid process on the pump but then all the sudden the lights turned off and the pumps turned off and they left me stranded forcing me to drive 10 minutes to another Shell station with my gas light on. Couldn't you just wait for me to pump my tank to close my pump?
Please extend hours to 12:00 midnight.
I would give a one star but since this station is cheaper than the rest I'll give it a 2 star.

Guess what the reviews seems to be exactly true. The worst gas station and staff lacks customer service skills. if you think of using gas station during last 15 minutes, I'm telling you it must be a chaotic experience youll ever experience.

This morning, I tried to put gas, paid at the pump, and started my car—only to find no gas actually went into my tank. When I went inside to complain, the so-called ‘manager’ on duty pretended to help but couldn’t resolve the issue. I ended up having to pay a second time, using a different pump, which finally worked. Now I have to call customer service to fight for my refund. BEWARE: there’s a scam going on at this gas station! The staff is unhelpful, and their ‘customer service’ is a joke. Don’t waste your money here—you’ll end up robbed. I’m escalating this to the York Region authorities!

I had a fantastic experience at this gas station today, October 24, 2024 at 4 PM. The service here is always great, but today, the employee named Abinaya on duty really went above and beyond to help me. She was not only polite and friendly but also took the extra time to assist me with lotteries. It’s rare to find such genuine and attentive service these days! I’ll definitely be returning and highly recommend this location to anyone in the area.

Employee will raise his voice at customers. Employee on the Sunday closing shift does not know how to enter numbers into the computer for Lotto Max when customers choose their own numbers. He yelled at me, accusing me of not knowing how to play the lottery (I think he expected me to do Quick Pick instead of picking my own numbers). Other customers behind me were telling him to calm down and that his attitude is not helping anyone. Even as I was picking my lotto numbers he yells at other customers because store is closing soon while there is a lineup of customers looking to buy. We can't understand the employee because he is angry and raging while his English is not good. On our way out, all the customers agreed that his behaviour was disgusting and over the top rude. This employee took his anger out on all the customers.

Came here to get gas and the employee was literally screaming at everyone “CAN’T YOU SEE THE SIGN WE ARE CLOSED” and pointing to the large gas price sign. The price was there for gas (indicating it is NOT closed) and there has never been an open/ closed sign there. Extremely rude and horrendous customer service. I thought a gas pump is supposed to be 24/7. Not sure what has been happening here lately but seems to be a common issue. I have gotten gas here past 11pm prior- just make it pay at the pump beforehand and stop yelling at customers. I will be going elsewhere to fill up gas even if it means driving longer to get there. Do better.

Turn into this location to fill up as I was paying at the pump the guy start to turn off the light and come out screaming can’t you see the lights are off and tell me to go somewhere else to fill up

I went to fill my car on a Sunday night. I got there at 10:55pm and the lights and pumps were on as usual. As I was pumping, the station's lights begin turning off and I can see the older guy who usually works there, grab his belongings and lock the store. He looks at me, dips his head, then leaves without saying anything. Then my pump powers down before I'm able to finish. Since then, I've switched to the Shell at McCowan and 16th Ave. The owner is way nicer, actually communicates with his customers, has similar prices, and is open later than this station.
