I usually go to shoppers when I need to pick up cold meds or shampoo when I can't go anywhere else.The things I need are usually on sale. It's never busy and the place looks clean. The pharmacists there are really helpful, and if you have any questions or concerns of what to purchase, they give you a helping hand.I like that when I have a prescription medication, they take down your info and text you to remind you when you should pick up your next batch of prescription medication.

Even though this is the closest shoppers to me (literally across the street) I was further reminded as to why I choose other locations to shop at.While the pharmacy staff was great, the cashier I had to deal with was rude, argumentative, condescending and patronising when I tried to purchase something that was mispriced/not as advertised.So for everyone here’s the legislation that she apparently understands and per the below- I would have gotten the product for free not the sale price I had politely asked for.Tip:Scanner Price Accuracy CodeIf the scanned price of a non-price ticketed item is higher than the shelf price, or anyother displayed price, the customer is entitled to receive the first item free up to a$10 maximum. If the item is more than $10, the customer is entitled to $10 off thelowest advertised or displayed price.The Code does not apply where sale dates are printed on a shelf label or signage and the sale has expired, provided the regularprice is on the label or signage.

GP submitted Rx at 10 am. Went in person at 3 pm, it was not available. It’s now 9 pm and it still not available.

Double check using self checkout, triple charged as credit card post double transactions, although it said didn't go through ended up paying debit instead. Now pending two charges on CC as CC has notifications

The manager assistant Bill is absolutely the worst, there’s 4 people in line ahead of me with just 2 or three things max each to buy and he would take about 4 minutes each I can tell everyone wanted to leave so bad and so did I, and he has this attitude that makes you never want to go back in there, after all I think that was my last visit to that unless he is not the cashier any more.

I came to pickup my called in prescription and there was only one person working on a Sunday around 6 pm 26th March The pharmacist had to:1. Take drop off2. Give prescriptions out3. Answer questions from customers4. Fill current prescriptions5. Take phone calls6. CashierAs such, it took close to one hour for her to fill my prescription.She apologized but Dr. Ho should not have only one person working on a busy Sunday.

Called to ask about the covid medicine, 30 minute hold. The person picked up the call told me to expect an hour wait, she took my information, few hours has gone by, heard nothing, so I called back. Once again 30 minute hold to talk to someone, then this someone transferee me to another person, still on hold.

I went in after going back and forth with my dr about some allergy issues for the last month hoping the Pharmacy team could help me as my last resort. Everyone is usually great here, but bless Cindy for taking the time to help me, she did what my dr couldn't do in the last month and I feel 100% better in the 30 mins of her suggestions. I can't thank her enough!!

I will appreciate if the staff will not default to being rude before I finish asking a question. I was trying to ask if they have a serum in stock which matches the face cream I have in my hand and this older lady with white/blonde hair who works at the cosmetic sections didn’t let me finish my sentence and said “No”. I then continue to finish my question and she realized I wasn’t asking for optimum points related question. Thinking back, I honestly should have dropped the face cream and left instead of buying it there. She was training someone new too so what a great way to demonstrate good customer service to your staff.

Consistently very slow to input and fill prescriptions faxed in from my GP. Like 4-5 hours before they even begin working on it, which is far too slow when the medicine is for something acute. Pharmacy staff are pleasant to deal with generally, but their workload is either too much or they are just so slow.

Michelle is the kindest and most detailed oriented pharmacist I have ever met! She took the time and effort to explain what all my medications were (even more thorough than my own doctor). Thank you!!!

Seemed quite alright to me. Got almost everything I went for. They had no stock refilled of Tylenol. They need more vegetarian options in their meal sections, verified "V" "suitable for vegetarians" etc. Cashier was efficient and friendly. It was organized and clean. However, the outside of the Town Square was full of garbage and filthy. Probably nothing to do with Shoppers directly, perhaps the Town/City of Markham? Disgraceful, depressing, and no excuse for it. All the stores there should make a formal complaint if it is not up to them as a whole to upkeep it.
