lady at cash had a conversation with customer for 5+ minutes while i was waiting in line. Taking her time scanning each product.. i wanted to pay cash and not by card… if you do not want to wait long in line I recommend going to another shoppers drug mart.

I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the service I received at your pharmacy on December 1st 2023. I have been a loyal customer of Shoppers Drug Mart for many years, but the treatment I encountered during my last visit was unacceptable and compelled me to bring this to your attention. On the aforementioned date, I had a severe allergic reaction that caused me extreme itchiness and distress, so i had visited the doctor and had the doctor sent out the prescription at 9:12 am to the shoppers drug mart pharmacy at 2920 Major Mackenzie Dr E, markham, ON. Given the urgency of my condition, I approached the pharmacy staff, hoping for a prompt and compassionate response and asked the estimated timeline. They told me that it can be done by noon. Then at 11: 10 am the itchiness is killing me, so i called again to see if they can prepare it earlier. I was hoping that they can have some empathy and understand my distress and discomfort and give me the medicine quicker. Unfortunately, the opposite occurred. Despite my clear distress and explicit pleas for expedited service, I was met with what I perceived as indifference and a lack of urgency from the pharmacist on duty. I believe it is the manager in the shoppers drug mart. The pharmacist's demeanor was not only unprofessional but also appeared unsympathetic to my medical emergency. He just repeated that i need to go to emergency and wait for 5 hours for nothing and waste emergency doctors' time while i have my medicine prescription ready from my family doctor. I understand that pharmacists must adhere to certain protocols, but I believe that a situation involving allergic reactions warrants a degree of empathy and efficiency that was sorely lacking during my visit. I had a mental breakdown. I think It is crucial for pharmacy staff to balance procedural compliance with the ability to assess the severity of a customer's condition and act accordingly. I trust that Shoppers Drug Mart values its customers and their health and that this incident will be taken seriously. I would appreciate a response to this letter, outlining any actions that will be taken to address this issue and prevent this happen again. In the end, I hope that that horrible and unsympathetic pharmacist manager will never ever get sick in his life and will never ever experience this hopeless itchiness himself.

Pharmacy staff are super knowledgeable and they explain the drug information well. Communication when drugs are ready for pick up, follow up if there is shortages and provide alternatives. Please to be a returning customer.

This Shoppers "pharmacy" needs a big improvement with customer service. There is always a very long wait time for prescription medication. Absolutely horrible and how ridiculous this is to be honest ????. Extremely upsetting. However, pharmacist were apologetic. Which made the feeling a bit more at ease...

Good discounts if you can find… product selection is ok but you would not believe the customer service… lady keeps doing her price tags despite seeing me at the cash and then 3-4 people coming to line up… ignoring for a full minute…..don’t complain when you lose your job to self-checkouts

This Shoppers really feels like my neighborhood pharmacy. From James to Christine to Krishna, they care. They are always warm and friendly and I never feel like a visitor. I have not had this experience at any other Shoppers and my family and i go to a Shoppers from Mississauga to downtown TO to Markham and Richmond Hill on a daily basis.

Store manager makes up policy of needing to have physical copy of online purchase in order to return in store. While on shoppers drug mart website it clearly states confirmation email is fine.

Custom Service at the location is pretty much non-existent. I had the opportunity to interact with of their employees at cash and was just terribly rude and seems like you're a burden to her day. I would avoid this location and go to the one on Bayview and Major Mackenzie.

Brought my service dog with me today to do a last minute late night shoppers run around 10:30pm today and didnt bring his vest. The “manager” came up to me and asked if hes a service dog and I said yes because I am epileptic. She proceeded to threaten and lecture me and say that because he is a big dog he needs to wear one. No service dog is required to wear a vest nor am I obligated to put one on him. He has just became my service dog due to my recent diagnoses and she has made the already difficult transition to my new reality very difficult. She was discriminatory to me as someone who does not appear disabled and to my dog due to his size. Assured her that I will never be returning and she lost a customer.

Good location with stocked isles and 3 self checkouts as well as cashier's if you need them. Good layout and easy to find products you're looking for. Bonus they have a Canada Post inside for your convenience. Tons of parking available at this location.

Most of the staff are friendly and helpful, but the manager might give you a hard time if you try to return something. Needed to return a Nintendo console that was purchased in the store one day before with a gift receipt, and the manager was reluctant to do so on the ground that it has no seal on it. How would I know whether it should have a seal or not? If the seal was put on by the manufacturer then why did you sell one without it in the first place? It was a really bad experience.

This store’s working hour is 9am to midnight, but the front door locked and refused the customers to enter at 11:30pm. Their night shift crews are very rude and not professional.

If I could put 0 star I will. Came April 29th to buy skin care products thought the promo for 2 movie tickets is on. The lady told me 29th is 20x points and 30th is for the movie tickets.She told me she can hold the products for me and come back the next day.I did and when I came she said they dont have the tickets anymore. Why is that?Why hold the products and ask me to come back then? I could have availed the 20x points on the 29th if she hadnt given me hope to avail the tickets on the 30th?
