The absolute WORST customer service at the pharmacy, will never ever return to get my prescriptions here. The assistant pharmacist .. her name is Joyce (not sure if I spelt it right) but she should not even have a job in customer service what so ever. Please do yourself a favour and never go here

The pharmacy team at this location are the laziest people I’ve ever come across. My kids who are 5 and 1.5 both have pink eye and there are drops they can make for them within 5 minutes, but the pharmacist said he’s busy….there was no one in line and it didn’t look like he was doing anything at all. These are kids and they had no empathy. I’m disgusted by the response and service I received. I went to another shoppers location down the road and they gave me the eye drops within 5 minutes and they were actually busy yet helped me out. AVOID THIS LOCATION!

Had a great experience with the pharmacy this morning. Anthony, the pharmacist administered vaccines for me and my Mom. He explained the vaccines well, was very accommodating and had good bedside manners, which I appreciated especially for my Mom. Christina, the pharmacy assistant, provided great customer experience, knowledgeable and was very friendly too. I could see happy customers leaving the counter. Both were professional and pleasant despite the busy morning. I can say we were taken good care of by them. Thank you, both!

ZERO STARS! Every time I have had to go to this pharmacy it has been ridiculous. Long wait times in line only to find out the prescription that was submitted days ago, hasn't been filled. My most recent experience had me going in there 5 days in a row, only to find out the meds my Dr. prescribed are on back order and can't be found anywhere. I was given some medication with no instructions. Not usually an issue as they are printed on the bottles, BUT, I had never been prescribed this medication before. Had I not asked, I would have taken what was given to me without knowing IT HAS TO BE TAKEN IN COMBINATION WITH THE OTHER MEDICATION! I will also point out the actual pharmacist was very dismissive when I was trying to explain this to him and how dangerous it could have been, choosing to interrupt me and tell me an alternative had been ordered, and to come back the following evening. Which I did.....to find out they can't get it filled. I had tried to call however, after being on hold so long, I opted to get in my car, while still on hold, get to the pharmacy, wait in line and then tell them "Hi...I'm actually on hold with you for now...20 minutes". Woman said "sorry, what can I do for you?". I had to tell her in future, make a more concerted effort at faking an apology for your HORRIBLE customer service. I will be driving out of my way to take my business to another pharmacy, and telling everyone I know in my neighbourhood, to do the same. WORST pharmacy I've ever been to.

Pharmacy ladies give attitude like they are in highschool. The 4 dark haired women working on Wednesday Sept 6th around 730 pm. Will not be back to this location.

My 5 stars are for the pharmacist Anthony Wong. All experiences I have had with him have been great. Despite how busy they are he always puts in the “extra” effort to ensure I am fully informed on new prescriptions, prescription changes faxed by doctor and many more experiences. Also, I have seen several times when Anthony notices there are lines both to pick up and drop off he comes over to help the pharmacy assistants usually by accepting the new prescriptions but I have also seen him assisting with the pick up.This is an extremely busy pharmacy - always. The pharmacy assistants try their best. However, I do agree with other reviews - there is absolutely not enough staff in the pharmacy.

Do you enjoy waiting in line for 20+ minutes while 3-4 staff members stand at computers or wander aimlessly and don't acknowledge you? Do you like waiting on hold for 20+ minutes only to be disconnected? Do you like waiting in a big line at the Pick Up counter while a staff member stands at the Drop Off counter doing literally nothing? If so, then I strongly recommend this pharmacy. If not, may I recommend going literally anywhere else?

Easily the worst managed pharmacy's I've ever been to. Today there is one cashier, 3 people in line, and the people at cash need a consultation on the meds. No problem. Move them to the consultation desk and keep the line moving. It's not hard. Instead you have people losing their minds standing for 20 mins with kids and 4 staff members with their faces buried in their screens pretending not to see the customers. I'm done with this place.

Stor and Pharmacy always short staff. They are very careless. Usually they do mistakes about medications.

Shoppers drug pharmacy staff here treat you like it’s a privilege for you to be served by them. They talk down to you and are just plain rude. Terrible Service.

I tried to return one item that I bought it same day in different store, but a cashier refused, saying my receipt showed thatI bought it from another shoppers drug mart, not from their store. When she saw my confused face said“you know every shoppers drug mart has a different boss”. I will never go to this shoppers drug mart again.( P.s. I went to bur oak shoppers drug Mart to return my item. Their service attitude is much much much better…)

My wife is indigenous and I brought her prescription to this pharmacy and they refused to proceed with indigenous card and said it’s not valid in Markham locations probably because it’s occupied by Asians so it’s not Canada. It was said in a bad Asian attitude, I am sure if you have ever had arguments with asians you know exactly what I am talking about. Regardless, I am taking this anti-indigenous people to the court so they are reminded who’s country do these Asians live in.

I had an extremely unpleasant experience at the pharmacy today.My doctor had recommended a coupon for me to use for one of my perscriptions. I brought in an electronic copy. The staff member assisting me wouldn't look at it. She insisted that it had already been applied. I had to explain they were processing it through my insurance plan. She then tried to brush me off, and said they couldn't just hand out the medication and that I couldn't "just go to every pharmacy to get freebies" at this point she hadn't looked at the coupon at all.I had to explain my financial situation before she would even attempt to look at the coupon. In front of the line up of other people. Then she claimed the coupon was not valid as I have insurance which isn't stated anywhere on it.The entire experience was frustrating, humiliating and insulting.

staff seem overworked and understaffedmanagement is very lacking**i give the staff creditfrom post office to pharmacy to retailthey do things right when asked**butThe carts are always all over the place.The garbage cans are always overflowing.The pharmacy staff are always overworked and unable to answer the phone.Shelves are often empty.The voicemail system to the pharmacy is always backed up or not working properly.It always surprises me when an owner operator or manager allows things to get like this.There seems to be no sense of ownership and pride.
