Buyer's beware! My brother bought a "fresh durian" from this store and when we opened it, we discovered that it was the previous frozen durian that was thawed. With the benefit of doubt, we went to the store couple weeks later to check on their "fresh durian" section and see that all their "fresh" was "previous frozen" that were thawed.

When the seafood department weighs fish, they deliberately put their hands on the scale.

The store is very smelly. You will notice the very unpleasant odour coming from the store as soon as you enter into the plaza building. It is terrible stinky smell!!! It smells like rottening animals or meat.

I bought a pot last night, but the stove didn't recognize it. I went to return it, but they didn't give me a refund. They said I had used it, but I said I hadn't. I just put it on the induction cooker to see if it would work. It didn't work at all. I I came directly to return it, but they said that as long as you put it on the stove, it will be regarded as used, so they will not refund it. It is better to go to this kind of supermarket less often. They are arrogant and unreasonable. They want to refund the money after selling it and find various reasons. If you give it back, you can only put it in the cupboard and put it on the shelf.

Good Asian grocery store in the Markham area. I would recommend their produce and seafood departments specifically. They also have a wide selection of Asian pantry items. Prices are in line with other Asian grocers. If you go in the morning, they have the most seafood/fish selection at reasonable prices. They carry a wide variety of produce. For oranges, they have low-end South Africa varieties to higher end Sunkist USA variety. They also carry fresh pandan leaves, which I barely see in other grocers. The place is resonably clean. It's quiet as it has high ceilings. Only the meat department smells a bit. There are some queues needed to cash out, but it's reasonably efficient. The parking lot has plenty of available spaces.

No goody to talk about. A reasonable Chinese supermarket provides you with daily needs.Still the same - I would wonder how it competes with the new stores around.

Generally cheap and cheerful but you just have to check the quality and freshness of the produce. Otherwise, the other staples sre reasonably priced compared to the “cleaner” places like T&T or Foody. Once you’re done here head over to the bubble waffle, soy bean or the frozen dumplings place for some yummy treats

In November 2022 as I was buying food there try to get 2023 year big calendar the cashier only give me small one calendar. I asked her why. She said i need to spend over 80 dollar. But I said I saw you guy post on the website flyer said you only needed to spend over 60 dollar can get a free big calendar that's why I went there shopping. But in reality it's not true they are misleading you with the information. So customers before you buy make sure you ask them how much in order to get the free calendar. Also, they give free calendar to people they know for free even spend only 10 dollar. I won't come to this supermarket again .
