I used to shop at The Body Shop ALL the time at every mall but Markville. which is funny because it is my closest store now, but not when I first started shopping at their stores. I used to buy everything for skin care from them, especially loving their line of Tea Tree products. However, products change and skin care routines change. My visit was specifically to purchase for my daughter. I knew this would be a great place to start her with some skin care products for her to begin her skin care routine. I stopped in a week before Christmas. I knew that I could either buy a la cart items and create my own basket at home, or find a good gift box that contains what I am looking for. The first sales associate that I approached was not helpful at all! She seemed annoyed that I was asking for specific products, well any products actually. I decided to browse the store on my own. I love this store, super clean and easy to move around. Every display was clearly labelled and it was so easy to find products from the same skin care formulas - Tea Tree, Aloe, Seaweed etc. I was trying to decide between 2 products and very quickly I was approached by a different sales associate. She was super helpful with my concerns and questions re: the differences between the 2 products I was deciding between. She also suggested purchasing the items as a pre-boxed gift set as it would offer me the best savings. I got everything that I needed and went to the cashier to pay. The cashier was also super nice, got me set up with their Loyalty Rewards, which I had no idea about. I was commenting on a specific product thst I used to buy, but they don't seem to sell anymore. She asked me to wait for a moment and went to the back room and brought out a handful of what I was looking for! I was amazed, she mentioned that they were discontinued, but she inquired as to whether she could sell them to me or not and the answer was yes. I purchased almost all of them! Explained that I was very grateful and beyond impressed at the level of service at their store and I would definitely be back!Looks like this will be mine (and my daughter's) new go to location of The Body Shop.

It's funny how my go-to The Body Shop store is at Hillcrest Mall. Yet, my closest one is in my backyard (relatively speaking) at CF Markville Mall. I had a few days left in July to use a $10 birthday voucher. I decided to pay this store a visit.I'd say that mall entrance 8 is your closest one to The Body Shop. The next closest entrance is entrance 9, with Sporting Life and Old Navy. I had pick up orders at Aroma Espresso Bar and SoftMoc, so I parked closer to Aroma and Walmart (entrance 11). The walk was needed!I walked in and loved how deep this store was. It had been ages since I last stepped foot in here. It felt cozy. It was also easy to find everything that I needed.I was running out of the vitamin C overnight mask. This store had it in stock. I was happy and picked up a tube.I also ended up with strawberry lip butter. I have been using their lip butters for ages. The woman at the counter was nice and detailed-oriented. She made sure that I wanted the vitamin C overnight mask. This line has a number of products that look the same, such as the microdermabrasion and cleansing polishes. You can easily pick up the wrong tube. I thankfully got it right. My voucher was applied, which felt like I got the lip butter and more for free. I paid with a debit card. Done! She put my items in a cute paper bag. I thanked her and happily walked out with my purchases.I should stop by this store more often. It's great.(342)

The store closes at 6:20pm but they lie and advertise false hours on google (7:00pm). Store assistants were so rude and also wanted to leave home early. Better tell customers the true hours and honor the time you put on the internet instead of wasting people’s time.

Horrible site experience. I attempted to use the site and items would not add to cart and when it did it added 5 plus items and would not edit the amount down to one. Do not order from here it is a waste of time and may be charged for more.

I rarely review. But this store needs serious improvements in their customer service. The two females waved me to come and use hand sanitizer and then I was left there for a good 5 mins just looking at products without any introduction or asking if I needed help until she saw me standing and comparing two body lotions. She then asked far away from her till, if I needed any help and When I said yes, she came over and I asked her about the two products and which is better, her answer was “I like this for myself” on top of she gave off a attitude. She then proceeded to ask if wanted a sample and I said sure. The moment I choose body lotion over body butter and told her I was using my birthday voucher, her attitude changed and gave me even more attitude. Horrible customer service and seriously needs improvement

So, I returned to The Body Shop for some gifts this past Christmas.Being that it was the bottom-of-the-barrel, COVID-19 year in 2020 for Christmas, I shopped online.I shopped very well in advance - before the start of December. I had a good selection of products to choose from, and found 2 items to add to my cart and have shipped by ground to my place. It was a bit confusing trying to follow them during the process of tracking and waiting for them; but, given that drivers have to contend with traffic and then add to that wtv coordination/logistical problems got amplified by COVID along the way, perfectly forgivable.I received my box personally handed to me - what a relief from worrying about f"porchpirates". The joy of opening the box was good - at first. Then came time to wrap the items I had purchased. One of them was a smaller gift assortment in a "pencil case style" cosmetic pouch. Easy peasy, dump that one in a gift bag and we're golden. Then came dealing with the actual gift assortment packaged in a fancy gift box. Omg. What a disaster! So, to look at it, it's got an elasticized bow around it and a sticker. "A" sticker. On one side of this heavy box. Well .. given that this box had a glass bottle of about 100ml; a full size body butter; and 3 other tubes of product, it was NOT a good time trying to wrap this box up. If I want to wrap it in gift paper to cover its identity that way, I have to remove and discard the bow, or open the gift box to add it inside. (Why??) And the other easy peasy route, where you dump it in a gift bag? That one flimsy sticker even with the bow left on was nowhere near sufficient to prevent the thing from opening and Bam! Oh no, everything fell out and d*mn was I glad that glass bottle item did not break. NOT IMPRESSED.Because I've known and loved Body Shop for a long time, and also because they're smart enough to keep tempting me with their own loyalty program that has my number, I've ordered another shipment.Better luck next time, Body Shop. 3 Stars for you.
