I have been to Home Depot Markham several times. I owe thanks to Brad from Lumber Dept for helping to choose the right type and cut to correct size. In addition if he sees someone around, he would say "how can I help you". That's nice gesture and feel confident someone is there to help.Also also at checkout, Cashier Paula is very pleasant.

Rented a circular saw on the weekend. Had some issues with the tool. Jon and Rahul from tools rental was there to help. They used their expertise to resolve the problems leaving me very satisfied. Good job Jon and Rahul.

Customer service employees are always pleasant to deal with, but lines can get really long..The sales representative in the light department (Indian male) was very rude when we asked for help kept yelling and insisting that a product we were looking for was the same one on the shelf but the product number was wrong and the picture wasn't even the same. Please educate you employees on the floor more about products you sell

Successful visit. After asking a store employee where to find something, they directed me to the wrong location in the store. Another employee told me it is always in aisle X. I did find the item in that area and as I was walking to the checkout the employee walked by me and said “sorry my bad”. I should have politely said, if you are uncertain, simply say so? Perhaps ask your colleague?

Buyer beware, if you use your debit card and the transaction appears not to go through….beware…you may have been charged twice after you swipe your card the second time to purchase the item. Home Depot will not give your money back even after presenting a bank statement showing the error.

i purchased a 20 inch ryobi lawnmower from Home Depot. it died 1 year later. it's been at the ryobi service centre in Toronto for 5 weeks waiting for a part. after this long if they can't get the part they should just replace the mower. dealing with ryobi and Home Depot is absolutely useless. piss poor service

Come here often. Since the spring they seemed to have hired a bunch of young men (likely students) who are seen throughout the store but mainly the front of the store outside and parking lot. They are not focused at all on their job, walking aimlessly and chatting, overall they make entering the store seem like an obstacle course and do not contribute in any way in making the store easier to shop at.

It was a very bad experience.Last week, I made an appointment with Home Depot's car-hailing service in advance and booked a car for tomorrow. It was not until I received the cancellation email at 8 o'clock this evening. I went to the store to ask why. The staff said that it was not their problem and did not apologize. I called the manager. The manager also said that it was not their problem. He said that the last person who rented the car did not return it, but I booked the car in advance. Why It can be rented. The attitude of the staff and manager is extremely poor throughout the process. Without a word of apology, doesn't Home Depot, a large company, treat customers as people? How are such employees trained?

Not much stock. Maybe coz of covid. Staff not around much, please hire more during peak times. Hard to find stuff. Cashiers are miserable (lumber area) - pay them more! Self checkout, they’re pretty helpful. Electrical guys are too sarcastic. Plumbing guy is cool.
