Store is cluttered and messy, product is thrown on the shelves and looks awful. Cashier was also rude when we were checking out. Go across the street to dollarama.

I was in this dollar tree today. I found the staff to be rude, unhelpful, and dismissive. I left there and went to the mall dollar tree where the staff was helpful and polite. I will not be returning to the Wakmart Plaza location again.

Didnt catch her name but there was a shorter woman around 5ft tall with darker cool silvery hair working this evening around 6pm Aug 13 2025 who helped my partner find a funnel that would fit to put in transmission fluid, she showed us around the store and found us the perfect item. She went above and beyond and will definitely return because of her customer service

Total joke. The store is cluttered and disorganized. I believe it is unsafe for customers and staff with boxes piled in the aisles. I would hate to see what would happen if there was a fire. They don't value employees and they over work them. When employees get burnt out and their performance suffers they fire them without cause. Makes so much sense. I shop there regularly because it is close (that's the only reason) and I have seen soo many staff go through there. Most recently a male manager who was there literally every time I went there. I think the guy must have had a cot set up the back. He was always helpful and friendly when I added for help. He was fast on the register, I even seen buddy making balloon bouquets. Anyways I haven't seen him there in a bit so I asked another staff member about him and I was told he was let go. I wonder if it is even legal for them to tell me that. Anyway I think it's sad.

went in there this morning at around 9:30-10:00 am to grab a few supplies for a project. the lady at cash that was checking me out seemed extremely miserable. she had a horrible attitude and made myself and the people i went in with very uncomfortable. i didn't catch her name tag but she was an older woman. i work in customer service myself and i understand that people have bad days or get rude customers but this was totally unprovoked and not fair at all.

Update review: This store was great until the new top manager Shelly took over. I have seen the employees' moral drop, seen employees that were there for awhile would quit or be"FIRED." I've seen her over stocking racks and shelves that later fall over seen her be racist to customers to their face and behind their backs. Saw her fear out and swear at child in the store( doesn't matter if the child was being a distribution ) swearing at a child is unacceptable behavior for a top manager who represents the store and the brand. I saw these same things SHELLY would do when she was running the Orillia store which got shut down. I Stopped supporting that store because of her and now she is ruining another store the company should do something about this .

It's a great place to shop if your on a tight budget.It's too bad they raised the price to $1.50 for almost all of their stock.

The prices are amazing! I'm used to Dollarama and they are now putting $5 price tags on items now! Gross!! Between $1-$1.50 :)

Extremely rude employee, I came in to buy a bunch of party supplies at about 8:45 pm because I couldn’t get there earlier, and she said loudly to another employee that I better hurry up and get out, she doesn’t care if they have 15 minutes until close, she is leaving early and locking the door. So I drove over to dollarama and bought my stuff. Will never return.
