I visited the Milton location, and was surprised that the prices for fruits were not at all lower than any other grocery store. I bought a box of black plums for $5.99 and came home and tried one plum and it was so bad it was dry and brown from inside with no taste, I tried another it was even worse. I tried submitting online request for a refund like three times but was unsuccessful and the page just doesn’t respond and brings me back to a blank form. Clearly, they don’t want to receive any complains and address the customer issues. Tried calling their customer help line, again was unsuccessful. This is very frustrating, the grocery prices are increasing but quality is declining. Being a retired person on disability every penny is valuable for me. I can’t afford to waste and let go my hard earned money like this. Food basics should refund me my money or else this would be my last visit to Food Basics. I am absolutely disappointed with this experience.

Store selling goods best before 12 / 25 specially indian masala , when informed to the manager he is so annoying and bullying in nature , not want to listen your concern , dame incident also happened in December when they are selling of September month best before masala at that time manager is also so ignorant. So , they are habitual to such kind of practice , how can you ignore it if same mistake happens repeatedly

The manager or supervisor was rude for no apparent reason. I understand that retail wages are low, but that’s no excuse for poor customer service. It felt like they were doing me a favor by being there, and any request for help seemed like an inconvenience. Customers should be treated with basic respect.

parking lot is long over due for resurface. Parking are also not very clean. This store needs a facelift.

At times Food Basics posts on their flyers and on their entrance door that there is a purchase limit on certain sale items but it is NEVER enforced by the cashiers. It’s so frustrating to witness people coming in and filling a cart filled to the top with a sale item that has a purchase limit but because the cashiers don’t enforce the purchase limit the store sells out of the sale item quickly, usually within a few days, but the consequence to other loyal customers is when the item has sold out the store won’t give a rain check. This happened to me again this week. This store needs better management.

Months ago a very well behaved young man use to work there quite handsome too. Unfortunately he is no longer there. Such a shame that they didn't try harder to keep him. Please bring back my handsome young man who helped me with my groceries and produce
