Moved provinces. Kings transfer staff were so helpful arranging the move, packing up, during transport, and when everything arrived! Professional and polite. I would recommend!

We wanted to express our appreciation for the excellent service Kings Transfer Van Line of Milton provided during our move. We found Bill, Rudy and Phoenix extremely professional, friendly and very careful with all our furnishings! The care they used with placing runners in our home, carefully moving furniture so as not to damage walls and using protective coverings was truly amazing! Rudy even suggested that he remove shelves in our TV Stand which had glass doors for fear these shelves may shift during the transport and break the glass, we thanked him for his insight.
When we first saw the truck pull up (precisely on time) we weren't sure everything would fit, Bill accessed our home's contents and said it should fit. We were truly amazed with his packing skills! Rudy and Phoenix focused on moving the contents while Bill concentrated on packing, I've never seen a team more efficient! Additionally, it was really nice to see happy friendly guys during the whole time. Moving can be a stressful time, so having competent friendly professionals made us feel so much more at ease.
We also want to thank Nigel (Owner) for his professionalism in meeting with us prior to the move and offering his recommendations. Our thanks to Linda for staying on top of the e-mail communications and friendly reminders. Our move couldn't have been planned any better nor carried out any smoother! We would rate King's Transfer with a 10 out of 10 and highly recommend them!

Moved from Ontario to British Columbia. Quite expensive but King's quote was competitive with other options. Dealing with Nigel in sales was good. But there were significant problems:
1. Limitations of insurance were not explained to us, leaving us with impression that ANY breakage would be covered. It was only after the move was completed that we were told that insurance only covers items packed by the movers - which was our furniture. All our boxes of valuables and fragiles and household items were not covered. Yet, the insurance premium was calculated based on the total value of all our belongings, including everything we packed ourselves.
2. Moving truck arrived with another customer's stuff taking half the trailer, which is normal for cross-country moves. However, there was not enough room for our stuff, so packers endeavoured to shove everything in, flipping boxes of fragile stuff over and around to fill every square inch of space. Even tied some of our furniture on the outside back of the trailer.
3. This led to damage - broken crystal and pottery in 3 boxes. And a cracked table leg on one end table that goes with a set of three matching tables.
4. Then we learned that insurance does NOT cover anything we packed ourselves. I explained to claims rep why our items had broken, despite being packed with ample rags, packing paper and bubble wrap. Completely disregarding my points, the claims rep refused to cover any damage for items in boxes.
5. Regarding the cracked table, which was packed by the movers, insurance gave us $100. For a solid wood table, with glass inlay. We estimated in our claim that the single end table would have been over $200 to replace. But the identical table could not be found, so we would have to buy a complete set of different but matching tables, perhaps worth $800. $100 is ridiculous.
6. Nigel at Kings Transfer Lines agreed with me that we had a bonafide concern, but said he could not help advocate for us with the insurance company. Basically, he validated my concerns but refused to help.

We recently moved from Acton to Seaforth and we used Kings Transfer Milton as our movers . They had to move items from 3 outdoor sheds in some of the worst weather Southern Ontario has had in years . Then travel to Seaforth which is in the heart of snow country unload the trucks in brutally cold weather without bringing in too much snow into the house. My wife and I were extremely happy with their service they came in on budget and the team they sent to move us were some of the nicest people we have meet in a while. Hats off to Nigel and his entire team for making the move less stressful.

If you are moving are planning a move - whether big or small, long or short - we would whole-heartedly recommend King’s Transfer Van Lines-Milton.
After living in the same home for 36 years we knew that the our move would be daunting.
We knew we wanted to support a local business. From Day 1 when Nigel came to talk to us about the move, we felt at ease and liked what he explained to us.
We wanted stress free moving days.
Linda was helpful when we needed to ask questions to ensure everything went well. We had calls to remind of us of times and schedules.
Our plan was to move out a day ahead and move in a day after closing. Our minds were put at ease that there was a way to get our things from our storage unit before moving to our house and when once the truck was unloaded at the new house, a downsize, the remainder of our items items not needed would be put in the new storage unit!
Even with the unexpected snow on Day 1 didn’t hinder our plan - Billy, Rudy&Mike were amazing and so helpful and it was such a pleasure to work with them. Day 2 the crew - Billy, Rudy&Clayton, arrived on time and were so efficient that we were able to even begin setting up our bins in place. The last move to the new storage unit went so smoothly - everything on the truck was moved into the unit and the crew maximized the space for us.
Our move was made easy by King’s Transfer Van Lines-Milton and we would recommend to everyone their great service.
Thank you for making a difficult few days less stressful and trouble-free.

Kings Transfer was able to accommodate me with only a few days notice. Nigel the Owner was super friendly, helpful and thorough. Ensuring all details were sorted out in advance.
My range was delivered with extreme care and professionalism by Glen and his team.
They ensured they took care of my new floors with covers and took their time but worked efficiently to bring my 350lb range into the kitchen.
Glenn along with Cooper, Daylin and Phoenex were friendly , professional and respectful. Glenn has tons of experience with many suggestions to safely move my 48 inch stove while te younger team was ready to learn from him with his knowledge.
I'd recommend Kings Transfer if you want the job done right. I considered moving it ourselves or finding someone to help but in no way would we have done it after seeing how this team operates using ramps, straps, protective equipememt and a dolly. Thanks Glenn and Nigel!!

Our whole experience from start to finish was 5***** service. Nigel was excellent to deal with quotes and all my many questions. Glen and his crews helping carry and load/unload at both ends where polite & respectful of our belongings and crazy strong and fast workers. We cannot recommend them enough! Thank you for making our move so easy

This is our second move with Kings Transfer. Keith, John, Phoenix and Matthew worked hard and took great care to move our belongings
After 8 hours they still had Great ingenuity to come up with a way to get our 8 foot long sofa into our 2nd storey apartment when they couldn’t get it through the door.
Keith and John lifted it to the roof of the truck and then up to the balcony railing where Phoenix and Matthew managed to pull it into our apartment. That is truly above and beyond service and it made a huge difference to us.
These guys were great to be with all day. Gillian & I thank-you.
